When I was a kid I was called Frogga at school because I used to collect Frogs! ~ Ornaments not the real things! I had HUNDREDS, then got skint and sold them all at a bootsale. They went like hot cakes but it broke my heart.
Somethings are irraplaceable, like my Smiths LP's that went the same way!.
Boo Hoo!
I am only called Frogga by one friend now, so It's lovely to be called frogga by all of you :T

:rotfl:
I'm not pink unless I sit in the sun too long and I definitely don't have wings!
When I first registered it was my first time on a forum and they wanted a username.....I was absolutely stumped so looked around me and the first thing I saw was one of my son's pet pink-winged stick insects, so I used that.
I wish now I'd chosen something more interesting/exciting or just gone for Pink as it's much easier to type.0 -

Evening Chums,
had a rotten night last night as I am not sleeping too well, but a good day so it isn't alll bad.;)
My sis-in-law had to go home today as her DD and family are flying back to Dubai on Monday. She is quite upset as they have been over for 6 weeks but she will only have a few weeks then she is off to Dubai herself for 8 weeks.:j that will cheer her up I think.
My son-in-law bless him turned up with two of my grandchildren, and he and Ben (grandson) cut the lawn for me, then he shifted my t.v. in my bedroom and lowered the shelf which had the DVD player on so I don't have to climb on a chair to put a DVD in, Good idea as I'm still a bit squiffy on my pins at the moment:eek: . Then my eldest DD arrived and whisked me off to her house for my dinner tonight so I didn't have to cookand I have just arrived back home.
First night I will be on my own since before I went into hospital. I adore my family and they are kindness itself, but I am such an independant old bu%%er that I want to try to get used to doing things for myself. I have had a short walk to the shops and when I came back I knew that it's not the best idea to be doing too much all at once. But I am determined that I will get more mobile as I hate shuffling around lie an old woman (opps I forgot I am an old woman ):rotfl: :rotfl:
Tomorrow I am off to my youngest DDs,and we will break the news to the children that we are all going away to Sherringham on holiday next week-end for a week. We kept it a surprise from them all year,so tomorrow afternoon about 4 there will be mayhem in her house as the kids think that they weren't going to have a break this year as Mum and Dad had an extension put up in the spring ,and we had told them that they couldn't afford it. We have jointly saved all our Tesco's coupons and have about £180.00 to get the food with for the week.It will help as there will be five children and three adults so we should make quite a dent in them.
Monday, I go to the hospital and see what other little treats are lined up for me in the future ,but I shall worry about that when I have to.At the moment I am looking forward to our trip next week-end and just relaxing with the family .
Hope everyone has a great week-end and although I feel as though I have been run over slowly by a steam engine I am jolly pleased to be home as there is no place like it .
I am off now to have a read of my new Peter James book that my DD got me from the library. Whilst I was in hospital a pal brought me a book called " Sophies Bakery for the Broken Hearted " by an new American writer called Lolly Winston.I was very impressed and although the subject matter could have been construed as a bit downbeat I found it very funny in parts .Has anyone else read it on here ? Very Jodi Picoultesque if you know what I mmean .
Anyway folks I'm glad to be back and <<hugs>> for those who need them and a great bigfor the rest of you
Night, night xx0
