Phew this means I'm not the only mad one! Just read everyone's comments about their furry friends to OH - his reply "This means there are people out there scarier than you"! :rotfl:
JuliaP - love the names. Not sure I could de-cat. They can be useful hot water bottles in winter when OH isn't here!
Frogga - FBThree for Fluff Ball Three. The cat I had adopted with her stray kitten had her triplets about the time I needed to think up a new email/nickname and I was feeling brainless that day! Homer-cat died last year but PsychoKitty (real name Finlay) who looks soo similar has brought us back to 3.
Oh yeah meant to say dirty horrid weather here means we think winter has arrived0 -
Odds,
I have just come from my local garden centre ( another €50 gone!) and they have some very nice plain glass vases and bowls....not suggesting that you visit Kildare this pm (!) but it might be worth a try in your local GC
Enjoy your evening...raclette cooking is great fun

Hi Guys
Im still here! Just waiting for a chap to call me back with some prices for last minute holiday! Thankfully (for the kids) my ex fetched them about half hr ago. Just hope the weather will be kind for the kids (it can p!55 it down on my ex for all I care) lol
I hate this waiting game, but managing to get small jobs done inbetween making lots of phone calls! Its so frustrating trying to find a holiday on the net, to be told, nothing available!
Think I will start & sort the uniforms out and get them named etc, ready for their return, kill a bit of time!
Catch you later

Hi everybody,
Hugs to all in need, get well soon to all not feeling well and congratulations to those celebrating ...Tired Mum:bdaycake: happy birthday.
Made some pizzas for lunch/dinner, we are going out later on and assume that we will be fed. Bought pizza trays in Lidl the other day, used them for the first and they were brilliant, used JuliaP's flat bread recipe as base and it was crisp and light.
Spent another €10 of my fast dwindling food budget...I now have €4.33 per day until 31st...think I can do it, needn't buy bread, lots of flour around, potatoes, rice, couscous, pasta and the wherewithall to make sauces for at least most days, just milk, veg, fruit and maybe some meat or fish needed, hoping to have fairly empty freezers and cupboards...not sure how long some of the stuff is there, but if its frozen we'll eat it I think.
Have a nice weekend everbody...good luck with the holiday hunt Crazychic.

Catowen ~ what is an LO ? I'm guessing you might be a childminder os something but can't figure it out!
LO is Little One (or, in the case of Kyle's LO - Lorenzo).
Tilly - well I've learnt something new!
Frogga - Penelope Penguin is my *alter ego* when I'm out campaigning on environmental issues. I've been in the paper and on TV as her
Had some friends over this afternoon which was great. I'm now coming down with a cold, so will be having a glass of something medicinal
Penny. x:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -
Oh thats BRILLIANT! P Penguin. That's the best explanation I've had so far! I will look out for you on the TV.:j
Bit Dissappointed to learn of Hardup Hester's name reason. I thought your name really was Hester. Bit cheesed off now. I imagined you were a little old lady who likes to knit alot, suck boiled sweats and watch countdown. If none of that is true either I don't want to know! You'll really spoil it for me!:rotfl:
Some of them are obvious like tiredmum et.c , but I love imagining what you all look like and what you do and where you live.
Is Julia Penguin Penelope Penguin's sister?
I am a tall leggy blonde, with great clothes, great hair, I don't even need make up and I drive a really flashy car!! NOT!!!:rotfl:Say it once, say it loud ~ I'm an Atheist, Anti-Royalist, Socialist, Tea-Total Veggie Frog and PROUD!:D
