    Loads of good ideas for pans, food etc... But all of these lead to washing up,so a big bottle of washing up liquid!

    • Sharpies - no other brand will do. They're waterproof and reliable, write on tins, plastics, folders, everything.
    • Marmite - no other brand will do. Get a HUGE 500g jar - toast will be a major staple meal, and marmite makes friends and provides B vitamins.

    It may not be strictly survival - but I added a small photo album to my daughters box for uni. Apparently it helped with the homesickness....
