Neg the sod and make sure you state how threatening he was. If you don't report him someone else might end up loosing a lot more money...

that his feeback form, only has 95% postive feeback.. seems like a rouge to me

Or someone who has been messed about by unreasonable people whining about P&P not being exactly what the cost of the stamps was?

    What were these threats??

Did the seller not just offer to refund either the missing part or the whole lot??

I won't have someone speaking to me the way this seller did - I'm dragging it on more to cause him a pain in the @rse!

    Isn't that a bit petty?

Why not just flog on the parts you don't need and get on with your life?

    I'm not a postman.

That said I'm bright enough to realise that P&P covers more than just the cost of stamps, and that provided it's stated up front, bidders really have little to whine about.

The trouble is some people are just petty minded whingers, innit.

read the message again, and you'll see in the sellers first reply he told me I was lying and that he would not accept a return. In his last message to me he told me that if I return them, he will not sign for them as there is one item missing (which is what I am trying to tell him - when they were delivered to me there was on missing and one that had been used!) and Paypal will find in his favour, so I will lose all monies including postage, and the items. Its not so much threats, its blackmail.

Nope its not petty - would you stand for someone trying to blackmail you when you report a genuine problem? the item is not as listed - I received 6 units, not 7 and he accused me straight away of lying, saying he checked them all and weighed them. No way did he do that, cos he would have seen the one that had clearly been used, and noticed the missing caddy from the box!

Sadly it's your word against his, calling it blackmail is a bit too much like arm waving though....

Since the items were only 99p and from what you are saying worth much more than that, why not just resell the ones you don't need and make some money?

I had factored the cost of postage in when I bid, and it was someone else that picked up the difference in postage was excessive. I always look at a total delivered price when bidding on Ebay. I win some, I lose some. :)
