Lidl loyalty card trial in Scotland

If I want to go in several times over the next week and get £5 off each £25 spend do I need to present a different card each time or does the £5 off work on every transaction even if you use the same card?
Millions of cards in my local store today when I was there!
You can use the same card multiple times - In fact Lidl will be hoping that is exactly what you will do , so they can track if promotions attract different people or if its just the same people coming back every week.0 -
I could see at a glance that the woman in front of me at the checkout had well over £50 worth on the belt and I mentioned that she should get the guy on the till to stop when it got to £25 so that she could use her card twice. She was not aware that she could do this and thanked me profusely afterwards
I also heard the guy behind me asking the teller if he could do the same thing.
£8 off £40 next week, I won't bother even trying0 -
Sickened I still can't go to Lidl. When will they stop this or is it over? Where can I shop now?
Horrible, horrible situation. They want to charge me 25% more for my shopping.
Sick thing is I normally spend more than £25 a week there and I often spend more than £40.0 -

I class this as TROLLING.
No-one is this stupid on purpose.0 -
I asked today in my Lidl what the next offer was with the Lidl card and they said it was going to be 20% off your shop. He wasn't sure if there was a minimal spend.
I have spent £25 on my shop the last 2 weeks where I would normally spend around £20 . I have stocked up on chicken and pork chops which I have put in the freezer . I thought the store seemed busier than usual and certainly more people seemed to be spending £25.

Disgusting. They are now charging some of their customers (most of them, probably) an extra 20% on their shopping.
Goodbye, Lidl.
I can't see that you are right, Nada. I'd compare this offer through the cards with the newspaper ads that Aldi was running where you got a fiver off when you spent soandso much. I never would buy that paper so I always missed out on any savings in a store I shop anyway. I haven't seen any prices go up at Lidl and I think I'm quite vigilant. This is just to get more people to try Lidl who would never shop there otherwise. The Scots are quite loyal to their habits and some need an extra "invitation" to try new things.
Shame you feel that you have to miss out because this scheme is running at the moment.First they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, and then you win - Gandhi0 -

though remember that the milk version of this is on the half price offer next weekend
The chocolate! I went today, with two lots of £25 made up in part of a box of 17p chocolates (60 in a box - well, I wanted to spread them around, it's not every day you get half a kilo of chocolate for less than a pound). So I got to the checkout only to hear the limit is 6 bars per transaction and it's a weekend special. Sad I was! Fancy them, with the cheapest chocolate on offer, turning out to be the waistline police.
