will use a calculator next time as I could have done twice £ 35 by adding booze
made the mistake taking DD2 shopping and ended up with stuff she wanted rather than what I need ...

HappyGreen done the same last weekend, though my excuse except from the kids was flu. My OH did say did you get full discount, I just did say yes its a different offer..though was angry at myself over the £6.00. Calculator today ☺.0

I find it a little struggle to spend £35 in Lidl unless I buy alcohol. My cupboards are now well stocked with coffee and booze.
The effect of these offers is I'm almost exclusively shopping in Lidl now. I used to shop around a bit.
I can find substitutes for food I used to buy elsewhere. Except for cat food.
I shop at Lidl, my cats shop at the posh online shops. Lol.
Anyway, I'm saving more than the £7 off £35 because I'm no longer going shopping at the Sainsbury.
Off topic I guess, but I'm also pleased to shop at Lidl as they are supporting the Living Wage for their staff.0 -

This loyalty card scheme has been weird. Without this forum or asking till staff, I'd be unable to find out the details of the offer each week - nothing on their website or in leaflets, as far as I have seen!0

In our store there are large posters announcing the current week's offer by the tills.
I obviously read the wrong paper as I've never seen anything in ours and on-line didn't find any info either...
so many thanks to all posters on this thread about the oncoming deals! :TFirst they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, and then you win - Gandhi0 -

Any idea when we are expecting to find out if the trial is successful and be extended to other parts of the UK?
It is not a loyalty card, it is just replacing paper coupons.0 -
Next offer is a free 9 pack Florays toilet rolls with a £20 spend so in effect it is not a 20% saving as they are normally about £2.690

15 October for a week the offer is a 3L bottle of detergent for a £20 spend.0
