Good luck with the viewing! Is the new agent getting you some viewings?

We are viewing a house tomorrow whilst someone views ours! Hoping it's a sign.

I clearly missed the forum post about no wine in September???? *i have already had 2 glasses!*

  • You always know instantly if it is.."the one". This house, it was the one as I walked down the drive, not even entered the house. Even now, 4 years on, I pull up and think "awesome house" every single time.

  • Helen that's lovely.

Haha Cath. Cheers! And good luck.

    No viewings so far.

NSD yesterday. The problem is that a few houses have passed us by that I could have happily lived in. Not fussy enough?

I am told by my parents (who are very 'successful' in the house side of things, owning 4 of the beggars), that they have never found their dream house. They are now closer to 60 than 50, which leads me to think that they never will? I still have the old romantic notion that we will find ours, but seeing as we will likely be in whatever house we move to in the next few months until our mid 40s, I'm not entirely sure...
  • Your dream house changes I think.
For those lucky enough to buy it, the reality isn't always like the dream.

    Found the house. Again.
    We just need a buyer.

    It needs

10k site clearance & asbestos removal
    new roof
    roof insulation
    rewiring
    plasterboarding
    a two storey extension
    two new bathrooms
    a new kitchen
cavity wall insulation (turns out there is a cavity)
    An extra window added
    the porch replaced
    new fencing/gates/landscaping
    new flooring and complete redecoration
    new windows.
