Santander is good for those with 20k to be fair. I'm maxing out 2 TSB's, 1 tesco and have 2/3's of a second tesco. It adds up nicely each month.MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0

Anybody else lose sleep last night due to the storm? It was really going for it over hear, kept waking me up it was so loud. We completely lost a fence panel. The wind knocked it down and its smashed to bits in my neighbors garden. I'm pretty sure it's next doors responsibility to replace though, so hopefully wont cost us.
£30.30 cashback tracked. Only 7 weeks to wait for that lol
Looking forward to the 1st of the month. Should be able to smash the £107ks and colour in another brick on the house. Exciting times :rotfl:Total Mortgage OP £61,000Outstanding Mortgage £27,971Emergency Fund £62,100I AM NOW MORTGAGE NEUTRAL!!!! <<Sep-20>>0 -
Lots of people have lost parts of their fence by the looks of things. Gardens can be such a financial drain sometimes. One of the benefits of having a flat with no garden.0

Sometimes I wish we didn't have a front and back garden. All the maintenance is such a faff. I'm not into gardening, but I'm a bit of a hypocrite because I do enjoy sitting out in the summer and if it's not nice I complain. The plan is to get some Astro turf this year (next year at the latest) so no messy lawn to worry about. Then again that stuff doesn't come cheap!Total Mortgage OP £61,000Outstanding Mortgage £27,971Emergency Fund £62,100I AM NOW MORTGAGE NEUTRAL!!!! <<Sep-20>>0

Boo! Just had the sudden reminder my car tax is due today, so had the pleasure of paying that tonight. On the bright side, I managed to scrape the money together from multiple current accounts, so didn't actually have to take money out of "the main pot". Had to pay with debit card as I absolutely refuse to pay via CC and pay the £2.50 fee :rotfl:Total Mortgage OP £61,000Outstanding Mortgage £27,971Emergency Fund £62,100I AM NOW MORTGAGE NEUTRAL!!!! <<Sep-20>>0
