    Update on DH's new cash budget per week... Actually went rather well. He only used the credit card for some food shopping which we both agreed and used his cash for other spends during the week.

    Will pop to the cash machine tomorrow and get next weeks cash budget sorted. I wonder how long the good spending will last :think:

    In other news;

    Going to hopefully be a few non spend days over the next week. I have time off work as study leave, so no travel costs, no buying lunch out etc.

    Exam Number 1 is in 5 days :eek:

    And its payday on Friday. Something to look forward to after the exam!

    Still need to do massive sort outs and get some things on ebay to help with OP's. Keep looking on rightmove at all the nice houses and really want this mortgage gone.... so I can no doubt get another 1 in future lol

    SJ, Yes I would advise you to tread carefully when approaching this subject lol.

    Just going to give DH his cash for next week now. Hopefully we can have another good week... we shall see.

    Looking forward to Christmas now. Shopping planned for the end of the month for an excited child who is just old enough to understand presents :)

    Can't wait for this week to be over with. Too much stress trying to revise and nothing sinking in :o

    Very much doubt I will be able to do much with savings in the next 2 paydays, due to Christmas shopping and other various expenses, so for now I have added £100 to my EF2 from some excess surplus lurking in one of my bills current accounts. I like to keep a healthy extra sum in there, just in case, which I forget about and don't include in my net savings figures, but it was looking a little too big for my liking, not earning anything, so I have added it to my savings.

    Still plan to do my regular £500 OP's though. Will be extremely disappointed if I have to miss one of those as its another month I can't get back.... if that makes sense.

    Thank you CAM. I have a feeling it did not go well. A few never seen surprising topics came up so we will see in the next couple of months when it gets marked.

    Might need fingers and toes crossed for this one.
