Ok being thick now. SJ, please let me know if this is correct.
Last month my mortgage was £111, 241

Great work finding that £50 yesterday and your figures. :T
Yes you're right with your nett reduction too - it leaves aside the interest bit.Back on the DFW Wagon:

No fair, I'll be 20k behind you both!
Great figures, net reduction is a lovely stat I think. My aim is to average 1k a month but that's being very ambitious at the minute. Naturally in year 2 (starting in March) I'll up that target to reflect the reductions in daily interest. Hopefully that's how I'll get under the 10 year mark. Lots if stats, lots of targets, loads of ways at finding monthly positives!MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0 -
I'm jealous of your net reduction SJ. Well over £1k! that's fab
We will get it under the 10 year mark! Nothing can stop us.... except job loss, death, natural disasters, children (they are born to financially drain us!) .... etc :rotfl:Total Mortgage OP £61,000Outstanding Mortgage £27,971Emergency Fund £62,100I AM NOW MORTGAGE NEUTRAL!!!! <<Sep-20>>0 -

Just had a thought. I am currently on a fixed deal with Nationwide. I understand if I want to swap products before the deal ends I would have to pay a penalty fee. However I am trying to find out if this penalty still applies if I moved my whole mortgage to another provider? Can't seem to find this info on their website. Anyone have any ideas?
I will obviously ask Nationwide directly, but just wondered if anyone may know/ if anyone has done this before?Total Mortgage OP £61,000Outstanding Mortgage £27,971Emergency Fund £62,100I AM NOW MORTGAGE NEUTRAL!!!! <<Sep-20>>0
