You won't be feeling crazy when you're MF at a young age and they are still years away from paying theirs off.
No, you won't be crazy...... but be prepared to be universally declared as 'lucky' :D

Having a mini panic. I knew with xmas spending/CC bills and that little unexpected bill that popped up that I wouldn't be putting anything into savings this month. But it's worse. I have now come to realize I do not have my whole £500 monthly OP ready for tomorrow. I am £50 short :(

How do you make £50 in a day? Thinking of pawning off DH's xbox lol.
May have to do a sweep of the money box and even go as far as bagging up the coins in my giant coca-cola can. Will post later with hopefully a good update. Wish me luck.
    Total Mortgage OP £61,000
    Outstanding Mortgage £27,971
    Emergency Fund £62,100
I AM NOW MORTGAGE NEUTRAL!!!! <<Sep-20>>

    Try DH's trouser pockets - they're usually a good source :).

Unfortunately I wear the trousers in our relationship and the pockets are empty :rotfl:

Waiting for DS to get picked up by his Grandad, so I can raid the money box without him getting way too excited. He's a little devil when it comes to money. Not even 2 years old and hes already saying money and running away with any change he can find.

Although I think my savings attitude is already rubbing off on him as he loves to put the coins through the slot in the money box. Always asking for more when he runs out ;)

£30 found in coins. Bagged up ready to go to the bank this afternoon.
Annoying as I have another £10+ silver but not enough to make into bags with the correct denominations, so can't pay it in!!!!!!

I have no idea apart from cash in a scratch card that has £1 win on it and get another 1 in it's place and hope for £20 + win.

Sorting out DS's nursery fees and amending the standing order/ childcare voucher payments. Turns out there was some residual balance left in the childcare voucher account, which means I can bring the SO down to just £80 in December. Using up all the voucher credit means my actual bank account outgoings will be lower..... meaning I have found my £20!

Another good note - Just fixed my gas and elecy for another year. Another £5 a month cheaper than current. Happy to see the account is in a slight credit of about £40 (this usually fixes itself over the winter months as I am not stingy at all when it comes to heating in our house)

Hopefully a nice saving of around £50 - 60 over the year.

Looking forward to making my OP and posting my renewed figures in the morning!

It's that time of the month...... as in pinch punch the 1st of the month

    £500 OP

Happy to say that a new brick needs colouring in when I get home from work. Entered into the last £10k before I reach that 5 figure goal.

Lol SJ, no kidneys sold. Saving them for the last few £££ left
