Hi Beanie
Thanks for asking - she's doing well considering and has settled into the 'new normal'. She has pneumonia on top of it too making it all a nasty cocktail. It's under control now, thankfully and if a flare up can be avoided during these colder months, she could have a stable late Spring and Summer. That's our hope anywayBack on the DFW Wagon:

Have done my most loathed job of the year - sorting phone and broadband. Am sticking with current provider, bit of jiggery pokery with package change to get the best price as usual.
10% off for paying line rental upfront = £21.24 saving or £15.93 p/m equivalent
Package - half price for 6 months = £45 saving or £11.25 p/m equivalent
Year's cost = £326.16/£27.18 per month. I'll ring in 6 months though and hoping DS will have grown out of the 1, yes 1 channel he watches on Sky that isn't on TT's tv. Mind you, got Sky discounted still at £15.75 p/m
Not too shabby for not moving
And then there's the car.... thanks again to Hidden for her calcs, it'd cost me very little to put that on a personal loan. Best rate means borrowing more than I need, but as it's flexible can pay that bit back immediately (or stash in another higher rate paying account) and pay off the whole thing early without interest penalty.
Got a Yes and 30 days to accept. So can keep my 5% and 4% accounts full, make a little bit (no tax to pay from April) and still have my EF for 'just in case' and cashflow purposes
Have managed to iron DS's shirts and do the housework today, surprisingly :rotfl:Back on the DFW Wagon:

Skinny, this is a former MFW's (Locoblade) spreadsheet that I started with.
Straight forward to fill in and will show you monthly interest figures. To get the daily one, divide the monthly by 30.4.
Hope that helps and have fun!

Spreadsheets baffle me. Somehow I've managed so far with the back of an envelope and a pen and a lot of crossing out :rotfl:Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0
