    I've been Money Tipped!
    Nothing...
  • I would be really offended if my sister offered to pay me for babysitting.

If this is a teenager, pay her £20. If this is an adult don't even consider money.

    My thoughts:

Personally, I'd feel guilty taking money off of a relative to babysit, so i'd just do it for free. I'm kind.

At the same time, If I was you, I'd feel guilty for exploiting someone and not paying them! How old is the 'babysitter'? How long will she be babysitting for?
If it's for the evening and she's young (like a teenager), I'd have to chuck her £20.

I pay my evening baby sitter £25 equates to roughly a fiver an hour. We are back for midnight though. Mostly because I can't hack late night anymore lol
I'm never offended by debate & opinions. As a wise man called Voltaire once said, "I disagree with what you say, but will defend until death your right to say it."
Mortgage is my only debt - Original mortgage - January 2008 = £88,400, March 2014 = £47,000 Chipping away slowly! Now saving to move.

I'd love to get to babysit my Niece and wouldn't charge/accept a thing

Me and wifey are going out tonight tearing up the dance floor so we have her sister babysitting for us. Wifey is going to give her 50 quid but i think it should be free, after all she is their aunt! I have made her a lasagne and given her the password to my netflix which i think is more than enough :D

let the wifey pay what she wants.

Tried that here you would be staying looking after the kids.

If the evening includes a chance to meet Spinkz, you'd think some of his groupies would offer to babysit for free. You know, the ones who chase after him when he wears his leather trousers :rotfl:

I'd say £25 upwards depending what time she has to be there and what time the kids go to bed.
