Morning all. Hope everyone is well.

Been struggling lately as my life has so many restrictions that it sometimes feels hopeless. Any how been racking my brain as to how I can move forward and I've come across a job I'm nearly sure I could do. Would get me out and mixing with people. Only trouble is my cv is obviously not great and the ideal candidate would have food hygiene cert which I don't. If I could get an interview I would stand a better chance I think but that's the hard part. Usually my cv is just discarded. Any tips please ? Tia xx

Good morning from a very wet and windy Weymouth:(..Have been absent without leave;)due to my Family Wedding.. Back home today so hoping to be able to have a mega :eek:catch-up later and hoping all is well with the Elite
Hope the wedding went well, peeing it down here too:(
    Good morning :)

I applied at a local council run group for help with getting work but I have to wait for them to process my application. They told me there are lots of employers happy to accept employees with difficulties and there shouldn't be any problem for them to place me in a position that suits. I don't know when this will happen though, hoping to hear something in the next couple months :)

    Good luck;)

All this discussion of various baked goods, anyone else here absolutely adore Lardy Cake? I was brought up in Sussex and this is now an occasional treat because I am fairly sure it is not good for you at all, but it is really very nice :D
    Love them with thick butter:o
    Morning Elite,

been AWOL for a while, RL getting in the way. I've skimmed back a little but no chance of catching up with all I've missed.

    Udi's compared yesterday.

Can I ask please, is the bacon mentioned the unsmoked twin pack v S or the smoked v M or another? TIA.

    Morning all :hello:

re: two A accounts with the same payment card

I need a second account, not hit the limit for ages as have been favouring in-store of late but would prefer two less frequently used accounts to one busy account when the next glitch comes by.

Think I shall sign up now :D ...The account I currently use is my wife's anyway.

Has anyone had success paying for an asda groceries order with 3V / pay com or any of the other pre-paid visa/mastercards ?

I had never thought of this!
Good point. I think my 2 accounts are quite busy; maybe I should create a third  I do worry what staff will think if they notice all these 10 Udi orders. I would have to ask about this if I worked on the staff and noticed this. I would want to know what's going on with them :D

In my local A, there are loads of SA running around picking a huge amount of orders so hopefully my occasional orders will go unnoticed. However I recently went to Waities for Yeo Yoghurts, and the SA told me that they had one woman going in and getting 10 yoghurts a time.... I smiled sweetly as I 'purchased' my 8 yoghurts!

This is exactly what it is like in our house.

Last night OH found the 2 absent black cats had been asleep on the end of the bed for hours, one refused to budge the other went down stairs for supper.
We settled in then having dined Ronnie snuggled up to OH.
Then Sophie found a spot on the end of the bed.
    3 cats, 2 humans

Many a time I"ve given up -exasperated by the snoring and space issue, I've retreated to the calm oasis of the sofa ....:)
