Evangeline1971 did you sort your job situation out?
I applied at a local council run group for help with getting work but I have to wait for them to process my application. They told me there are lots of employers happy to accept employees with difficulties and there shouldn't be any problem for them to place me in a position that suits. I don't know when this will happen though, hoping to hear something in the next couple months :)
Can I ask do you have more than one account as I am now at my limit and can not do another shop until at least the 4th of Sept

If you have more than one account do you need a separate payment card too:(
Yes I have 2 accounts, each with a different name, address and email. It has been reported on here by someone that their 2 accounts like this were merged so its probably safer to use a different payment card as well. However I have been going over the £100 limit across the 2 accounts with the same payment card. Touch wood not had any problems as yet :)

Until recently I was rarely doing C&Cs but I decided I need to make a plan because I was spending too much on shopping. My plan is that I will alternate the accounts each time I shop so there should always be some vouchers available if I shop twice weekly. I spend around £6-10 cash plus the £20-£25 vouchers I usually get thanks to Udis and other bits I've ordered that were cheaper in Ts. I'm finding this works well for me; I get plenty of groceries and don't spend more than £20 per week :T

    Morning all :hello:

re: two A accounts with the same payment card

I need a second account, not hit the limit for ages as have been favouring in-store of late but would prefer two less frequently used accounts to one busy account when the next glitch comes by.

Think I shall sign up now :D ...The account I currently use is my wife's anyway.

Has anyone had success paying for an asda groceries order with 3V / pay com or any of the other pre-paid visa/mastercards ?

Good morning. Rain here as well. Glad I did the garden yesterday.
  • Morning all, rain here too. Mowed the lawns on a whim yesterday, glad I did cos couldn't do them today!

Have tomato chutney to do today but that is it, have worked my assets off over this weekend but well worth it, got most things done that I wanted to.

OH has been in Frankfurt over the weekend, getting temperatures in the 30s. He didn't take a raincoat with him though, and the drop off point is a few minutes walk from home so either he will sweet talk the driver or get wet!

Are there any welshies here that remember welsh cakes ?
my mum (nan) use to make them for me and cook them on a piece of iron my dad made for her on top of her cooker ring
they were round and flat and had sultanas in them
ive tried a few recipies but they just dont taste the same as the ones mum made

    Good morning all :)

We still make them. And have two old bake stones passed down. They are around 100 years old it does make a difference if they are cooked on a iron bake stone or man as the oldies would call them.

Good point. I think my 2 accounts are quite busy; maybe I should create a third  I do worry what staff will think if they notice all these 10 Udi orders. I would have to ask about this if I worked on the staff and noticed this. I would want to know what's going on with them :D
