So we have had a lovely day in Chester - went on the train as usual and walked in and out of town via the canal path - so lovely and warm.
Mostly I was checking the Primark sales out but didn't buy anything - I did get a white waffle dressing gown - we have a visitor coming later in the month - she expects hotel standards :D
Also I've got very old towelling bathrobes that really are grim so they are going in the cloth recycling now I've got a replacement
Greggs breakfast using the Greggs app - topped up last night via my PayPal account.
As we went past Holland and Barrret a girl outside was giving out free lip balms so she gave us one each :j
Poundland for hair colour - I won't last until hairdressers appointment
    marks sale - nothing much
Boots were I bought £5.97 of make up using a £5 love2shop voucher and 97p and got 30 points plus 600 bonus points on my boots advantage card so free make up :) :j
Then we went to Piture and Piano - their monthly email gives you a free Old Molt cider so we had lovely pre lunch drinkies :)
Lunch was at Pizza Express using a nectar voucher for 2 main courses - cost 1000 nectar points, comes through as a code straight away. OH had pollo pesto and I had pollo leggera - pizza with salad in the middle - £5 worth of nectar points for nearly £20 of food :j
Then as it was getting frantically busy we set off for home again
Morrisons on the way home - £4.11 of shopping but I used a £4 wallkers voucher so only 11p in money

So apart from the dressing gown I've only spent just over £2 in real money (but also 1000 nectar points, £5 love2shop voucher, £4 wallkers MOC, £5 PayPal money :) ) :rotfl:

I'm forgetting all about it for now, off out soon to enjoy some neighbourly company. I love my excel spreadsheets but I dare not touch them for a few days at least

mhoc, you do understand me :j and the challenge I faced :o. It just wouldn't come back on, it has done lots of times before when I froze it. Well once Sky man told DH what to do.

I'm no doubt going to hear about this tonight as DH will be regaling my misdemeanour.

Enjoy your evening all, see you later x

You could in theory, if you had the house to yourself, ring 150 - its free and this takes you through to sky and you could then explain that you need technical help but you needed it explaining it very slowly
Once OH had to reset the email system and a lady from India went through all of the stages very carefully until it was reset and working again - we had problems with her accent and she had problems with ours :)
Sky tech help is very good

When we are going away I even save my excel charts and then send them to myself so I could in theory view them on the iPad - fortunately I've never actually viewed them on the iPad - it's just the comfort of knowing that they are there if ever there was a big stress situation
( I am thinking if things like flights delayed by 24 hours or being stranded on a cattle struck train for 10 hours :) )

My rugby World Cup tickets arrived today :j

I got two New Zealand games, one of which is at the Olympic stadium in London that I can't go to because it clashes with my holiday :(

    What dates are they for?

I've looked at getting tickets, but every time I looked only the silly priced ones were available ....

If I can't get England or South Africa, New Zealand will do ;)
