Morning. I was supposed to be doing parkrun this morning but DS is complaining of hurting tummy. Don't want to go by myself :(

He's off down is nanna's in a bit so I can do a bit of tiding/shopping

Can anyone please tell me about the Lynx? Only deo OH will use

My sister and bil are avid Park run people even doing the Durban one the day before the mega marathon. Are you a member of Fetch? The idea is you add people who are members of Fetch to your profile as you meet them on various runs. Great fun and can also see at an instant if anyone you have met before have signed up to do a particular race. Worth a look.
Sorry I can't help with Lynx but I believe not far back to find post detailing the ones working. Really need some for ds1s birthday bag but weather has been far too nice here and I have been washing all the items that need to go into machine on their own today.

Heard tractor a while back and now very nasty aroma of muck spreading. I understand it needs to be done but surely not on one of the nicest days of the year. Hot but not unbearable and a very gentle breeze. Should be a law against doing it at the weekend.
What with muck spreading and neighbours bbqs I seem to get very little time to enjoy my garden in fine weather. I think there should be a bbq timing law. Not before 6pm weekdays (s the 9-5 workers can get washing in when they get home) and maybe after 2pm at weekends. At least we would all know where we stood and could close windows, get washing or or plan when to go shopping.
Will be adding these items to the Elite for Parliament agenda I think:mad:

Ok not in best of moods. Upsetting news about Dads former care home yesterday. Sudden closure due to bad report. Allegations of abuse and lack of training ect. Upset because we felt they were very good to Dad and I think quality of staff shows as they have pledged to keep working untl all residents have found new placements. Why couldn't the council enforce emergency measures, take on some well qualified staff and get the home back on track instead of upsetting the vunerable and terminally ill
    further:mad::mad::mad: Common sense.

Ok rant over carry on with your lovely days I am off to see how well Nanny did with her Bootie.
I just know that last comment will get a nerfy response:rotfl:

can you access the other channels via sky go?

No nothing from Sky on that tv, all ok in the lounge though thankfully otherwise he'd be moaning and groaning at me more than he is.

Sky go I've got on laptop though, ahhhhh, I'd forgotten about that. Mind you I can't record on that :rotfl: :rotfl:

Awww VT (((hugs))) from me to you, you are having a bad day. I know it's a shame closing down yet another care home when there are other care staff around looking for jobs. I suppose though they have to close to do investigations, it doesn't help the residents and does cause them upset being moved :(

Our bbq starts at 6pm, well the gathering does. The chef will begin about 7pm :rotfl::rotfl:

My slightly failed shop! (well very!!)

Based on comparable items... Tesco Sainsbury's Morrisons Waitrose
The cost of your shop at Asda was: £14.20 £13.70 £9.04 £6.02
The competitor cost would have been: £13.51 £18.58 £9.62 £8.55
    To be 10% cheaper Asda needed to be: £12.15 £16.72 £8.65 £7.69
Compared to the 10% cheaper price
    £2.05 more
    £3.02 less £0.39 more £1.67 less
    Asda was...
    Not 10% cheaper
    10% cheaper Not 10% cheaper 10% cheaper
