morning all does any one know of a web site for free email address not GMX help appreciated
mail.com has really lots of choices (about 200 domain names). You can attach big files and have unlimited storage. Been with them for over a decade now.
But I'd second gmail unless you're worried about google knowing too much about you. There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -
Hiya zippy.
Hope you enjoyed your cruise.
You were away when this was organised. VT and I are going on a cruise at the end of the month:D.I am a cruise virgin:p, and I remember you telling me, when we were in Antigua that time, that I ought to try it, and now I am going to, with the lovely VT.:D
We're keeping the destinations secret, and will post pics each day.

Morning all. My decluttering desire has well and truly been crushed by the price of skiphire. It is expensive to get rid of soil and tree roots/weedsPan drawers in 2016 £1500 needed.0

If anyone is carefree and not weighed down by the usual obligations of work, children and bills on cruise.co.uk this morning there is a nice P and O cruise for some winter sunshine and heat - 14 nights going December 7th so you get back just in time for Christmas.
The ship is called Oceana, not the newest and it was looking a bit tired when we went last year but not enough to make any real difference, they are all comfortable and gorgeous .
Ports are Lisbon, Cadiz, Gibraltar, Cartegena, Casablanca and Madeira - it starts and finishes in Southampton
These are all ports whereby you dock very close to town so you can just walk on and off the ship as and when you fancy (except Casablanca) - no worries about shuttle buses.
In Gibraltar the local mini buses take you between the boat and town for £1.50 each way and there are always tourist buses on the quay but generally you are not in port for more than an afternoon.
Cartegena is fabulous - I saved someones blog the other day which is a comprehensive walk around tour.
Stay on the ship in Casablanca - its horrendous 3rd world place, sorry that's not very pc but its not a place you feel very safe walking around in.
Quite a few sea days on the way back and a chance you might not get to Madeira if the weather turns bad. The bay of Biscay can also be entertaining.
I think this must be a saver fare so you pay everything up front, your cabin will be a guarantee so you wont know exactly were you are until a few weeks beforehand and you wont get a choice of table or of your sitting for dinner.
Having said that we have always done OK with these sort of deals. Only once were we on a table of 8 with an ancient rocker who was a crashing bore but we got moved on the next evening, the waiters took pity on us
The best bit is the price - I've never as far as I can think seen such low prices for insides and outside cabins.
we can a balcony last time, this was January, it got some usage but not much and the sliding door stuck so was hard to open and shut - so you might as well have an outside and save £200.
£499 per person inside - so £35 per night
£599 outside per person - - so £43 per night
£799 balcony per person - so £57 per night
yes I would have been on the phone now, sadly too close in dates to when we are going - the annoying thing is our final payment date is in about 3 weeks time but if we swapped now we would loose a lot of onboard credit“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
Decorator arrived over an hour ago and he complimented me how clean my kitchen was
I have been cleaning mine best I can when various workmen finished their jobs.
We had a good natter and some of the kitchens he told me about  I would have beento have let anyone in.
He laughed at my light and couldn't understand why electrician not already taken it out so I told him I moan at Alison all the time I hear from or see her or I wouldn't get it taken out0 -
Evening all.
Thank you for your kind words.
I've just caught up with a few skips and jumps and wanted to send hugs to ladyshopper.
I also saw peeps were buying bargain Oleander plants. Please please be very careful with these, they are highly poisonous to people and animals and can cause death if ingested.. The sap can cause dermatitis, the smoke from burning fallen leaves or prunings is toxic too. I am horrified that there does not seem to be info about this on the plant labels.
Have a quick read, or Google it for more info. I'm only aware of it as it grows all over Antigua, and the locals are all very aware of the dangers.

Effects of poisoning found online
Oleandrin, one of the toxins present in oleander
Ingestion of this plant can affect the gastrointestinal system, the heart, and the central nervous system. The gastrointestinal effects can consist of nausea and vomiting, excess salivation, abdominal pain, diarrhea!that may or may not contain blood, and especially in!horses,!colic.[7]!Cardiac reactions consist of irregular heart rate, sometimes characterized by a racing heart at first that then slows to below normal further along in the reaction. Extremities may become pale and cold due to poor or irregular circulation. The effect on the central nervous system may show itself in symptoms such as drowsiness, tremors or shaking of the muscles,!seizures, collapse, and even!coma!that can lead to death.
Oleander sap can cause skin irritations, severe eye inflammation and irritation, and allergic reactions characterized by!dermatitis.[23]
Treatment
Poisoning and reactions to oleander plants are evident quickly, requiring immediate medical care in suspected or known poisonings of both humans and animals.[23]!Induced vomiting and!gastric lavage!are protective measures to reduce absorption of the toxic compounds. Charcoal may also be administered to help absorb any remaining toxins.[7]!Further medical attention may be required depending on the severity of the poisoning and symptoms. Temporary cardiac pacing will be required in many cases (usually for a few days) till the toxin is excreted.
Digoxin immune fab!is the best way to cure an oleander poisoning if inducing vomiting has no or minimal success, although it is usually used only for life-threatening conditions due to side effects.[citation needed]
Drying of plant materials does not eliminate the toxins. It is also hazardous for animals such as!sheep,!horses,!cattle, and other grazing animals, with as little as 100!g being enough to kill an adult horse.[24]!Plant clippings are especially dangerous to horses, as they are sweet. In July 2009, several horses were poisoned in this manner from the leaves of the plant.[25]!Symptoms of a poisoned horse include severe diarrhea and abnormal heartbeat. There is a wide range of toxins and secondary compounds within oleander, and care should be taken around this plant due to its toxic nature. Different names for oleander are used around the world in different locations, so, when encountering a plant with this appearance, regardless of the name used for it, one should exercise great care and caution to avoid ingestion of any part of the plant, including its sap and dried leaves or twigs. The dried or fresh branches should not be used for spearing food, for preparing a cooking fire, or as a food skewer. Many of the oleander relatives, such as the desert rose (Adenium obesum) found in East Africa, have similar leaves and flowers and are equally toxic.
This is just for information cos I am concerned that people don't know about the dangers.
Off to bed now, night all.
