    :o

Couldn't go to sleep last night as I had an idea pop in my mind for my Charity Bingo night tonight.

90 squares - buy a square for a £1 & the winner is a number drawn on Bingo machine.

But what to have as the prize? Got up & ransacked stash :o:o

Eventually decided on a huge box of Thorntons & a bottle of Prosecco ;)

So have designed my grid of squares on Excel & printed off :T

Even if 90 squares are not all sold we will still make money :D

    Morning all.
Busy day today. Got to take Mum to hospital to visit partner as her lift has let her down and she is far too fragile to drive herself. Spent an hour on the phone trying to lift her spirits a bit, and to get her to eat. She is only little, and has lost so much weight. She weighs about 6 stone now and looks so ill. I cried at how she looked when they got home from holiday at the end of June, and she's lost a stone since then.
Hospital wants to send partner ( D) home, so need to get them to provide a hospital bed so he can be cared for properly. It will have to go into the lounge as he is not to go upstairs. They said er would get a care package, but have given no details. I'll have to speak to someone today to find out what is going to happen.

I'm feeling quite low and tearful today, so looking forward to a meet with VT this afternoon. She cheers me up no end. We're having our pre cruise pedicure. Talking of the cruise, I told Mum I would cancel it, but she is adamant that I still go. The situation with D is that it could be sudden, or lingering. No one can tell, so she felt that I could cancel, but nothing may happen in the week we're away. I can keep in contact quite easily, so feel reassured about that.

Sorry to put my thoughts down on here, but I know lots of you have been in similar situations, so will understand how much it helps.

  • Morning All - little bit of sunshine here so doing all my nets - a little bit old fashioned I know but my house has leaded lights, beams and was built in old stocks - so its lacy nets rather than blinds. Then shampoo lounge carpet all in preparation for my Ozzie guests next week.

However it is Wednesday - so Glitch ready too!

    Enjoy your day folks x
