Hope I've posted this in the right place.
I'm just wondering if anybody has ever bought a reconditioned computer from either Cash Converter or Cash Generator and if so, were you happy in an overall sense with your purchase?
Thank you.

You'll find a better deal elsewhere, expensive.

Depends on what they've got in stock - they may have a bulk load of ex-corporate stock one day, and just a single laptop the next (metaphorically)0

It is unlikely that there will be an operating system included.0

What do you want it to do, I'm assuming you are after a laptop ?Science isn't exact, it's only confidence within limits.0 -
In my limited experience, they tend to sell older stuff at prices approaching new, spec-for-spec (if you can find such lowly specs any more). I don't think their refurbishment is terribly in-depth. I certainly wouldn't touch one without doing plenty of research first.0

Take for example this from the argos outlet on Ebay:

NB argos refurbs are 12months warranty.Science isn't exact, it's only confidence within limits.0 -
I don't know if it's of any help, but I always have these two companies in mind when I think of budget computers. Might be worth comparing the specs/price with what you see in the pawn shops.
