Cyclist v Motorist that's actually worth watching

Well Is laying hands on someone a public order offence?
I would like a transport network where all people can go about safely.
I dont want wiped out by a drunk driver,a speeder,a lorry driver in a vehicle unfit for the road.
If im on the bike All the above apply too. However a little forethought in design would wipe many issues out.
The irony of the carcentric view isnt lost on me. I live in a city that aims to be a 'world class cycling city'. Its so far from it I wont take my son out on anything but a pootle along a disused railway.
yet......

Yup,damn those cyclists causing nothing but problems. Getting back to the case in point. You do realise the ridiculously close pass was the catalyst for the swearing. I mean, you do get that?
Yet again you don't see any fault in the cyclists actions and haven't bothered to read the public order act.
Some of us would like to walk about without the Lycra clad morons using the C word.0 -
I'll see what the MSE populous have to say, two grown men having a road rage argument against Andrew Holland dragging a 3 year old toddler along the street.
Of course you will find more examples than me Craig, most of the cyclists involved in these sort of incidents can't be identified.
I think thats the 2nd time you have used that name for me? (or someone else did)
I dont know why you think its my name, but if it makes you feel better then use it.
I have been called worse.
What incidents? Are you saying only incidents where people are caught, are reported?0 -

Feel free to educate me. Once more. Do you see the root cause? You talk of blinkers yet the catalyst here is the poor driving.
Watch the video and see the car in front of the 4x4. seems to manage a pass and no foul language.
Weird,what could be the difference?
We have one card carrying member of the anti cycling clan touting out an incident on a pavement.
Here we have a guy who feels its his right to punish pass a cyclist because the dare to use the road.
So where to go?0 -

Yet again more denial of any wrong doing by the cyclist. Just because he's on a bike you think he's allowed to commit crime and gat away with it.0 -

Ah,so are we moving on from public order now?
Funnily enough. feeling your safety is being put at risk can raise the old adrenaline levels.
So whats the crime we are onto now. Im guessing the close pass and laying hands on someone can all be covered by public order.
The cyclist however is the criminal here?0 -

They both are but you won't accept that.0 -

What was that, yes you're correct the cyclist was wrong too?
We will never agree here. I use car/bus/bike/car and various vans regularly
So i can see from many views.
The simple fact is in the 2 examples shown. The act of the drivers created the incident.
Both these drivers no doubt feel blameless because of these naughty cyclists.0 -

Because you fail to see an wrong doing by any cyclist.
So what if the cyclist had stabbed him, you would claim it's ok because the car passed too close?0
