    What did he get?
Jason Wells has since been interviewed by an officer from Roehampton SNT and has since been issued with a fixed penalty notice for a public order offence.

So what would that be? Im guessing <£100

Sounds about right for a public order offence.

Is hitting someone on the road with a 4x4, a public order offence?

Cyclist bent his mirror back, he wasn't hit and to be honest both of them should be fined. You can go round calling someone a c@€t.

If you watch the video you will also see Jason lay hands on the cyclist. I assume thats fine as well?
You seem to accept a lot as a public order offence.
Im a big lad. Would it be okay for me to grab Jason and push him around a bit?
I wouldnt really hurt him. Just manhandle him a bit.

Cyclist is lucky he wasn't laid out. Call someone a c@€t in some places and you can expect a trip to the dentist. You seem blinkered towards the Lycra clad idiots actions in that clip.

So the cyclist was lucky he didnt get laid out.
No doubt Jason was simply meeting his civic duty?
Blinkers indeed. I probably do more miles in vehicles a month than you. I see all levels of behaviour on the roads.

And again. Must pass the cyclist,in a hurry....nope,plenty of time to argue but no time for a safe considerate pass.

And you base another ignorant comment on what?

You are so biased in favour of the cyclist, you can't see beyond what you want to see. You mentioned fail to stop, where is the evidence of a collision?
While you're doing your research have a read of the public order act and going by the evidence on that clip tell us why you think the police got it so wrong.

Well Is laying hands on someone a public order offence?
I would like a transport network where all people can go about safely.
I dont want wiped out by a drunk driver,a speeder,a lorry driver in a vehicle unfit for the road.
If im on the bike All the above apply too. However a little forethought in design would wipe many issues out.
The irony of the carcentric view isnt lost on me. I live in a city that aims to be a 'world class cycling city'. Its so far from it I wont take my son out on anything but a pootle along a disused railway.
    yet......

Yup,damn those cyclists causing nothing but problems. Getting back to the case in point. You do realise the ridiculously close pass was the catalyst for the swearing. I mean, you do get that?

another ignorant comment. Thats quite a statement is it not?

Well John,Im sure you have googled that one until your palms got sweaty.
So im sure you are correct. If you wish to go down that road(no pun)
    Then I'll play.
The cyclist got fined. What did Jason Wells get for hitting the cyclist?
    For threatening the cyclist?
    For leaving the scene?

I'll see what the MSE populous have to say, two grown men having a road rage argument against Andrew Holland dragging a 3 year old toddler along the street.

Or shall we go further? Im sure you will run out of examples before I do......

Of course you will find more examples than me Craig, most of the cyclists involved in these sort of incidents can't be identified.
