    Hiya everyone :hello:

    Great find, lynne:T.
Yup - really pleased. I was going to buy some cotton undies (it's really hot and sticky in Ibiza in Sept) anyway so well chuffed :)

Aesop.... I really hope you get it all sorted as soon as possible for your own sanity but also because we miss you:kisses3:

Totally agree with above ^^^^ :)

What a difference from my childhood when it was safe for us to play outside and have all sorts of adventures in woods, fields and parks without any adult supervision even from being about 5 years old. Older children in the group looked after the little ones, our parents never had a minute's worry about us (except for someone maybe falling out of a tree they were climbing;)). In fact parents only saw us for meals and at bedtime. I know modern children have so much more than us in the way of technology etc but I wouldn't have swapped my own magical childhood for anything.

That's soo true also - my holidays were the same

Made £ 3.50 from entering all my 'buys' at con. pulse and £ 3.45 from surveys today so that's £ 6.95 to add :j

Hope you all having a super weekend

  • Earning opportunities and time seem a bit thin on the ground for many of us at this time of year but everyone is doing so well regardless:beer:

Did an indoor table top sale at a very small village hall this morning. Very little space allowed for each seller so I just took books and CDs mainly. Didn't do brilliantly but cleared some more clutter which is maybe more important to me at the moment than the amount of money I make:o.

Book sales on Amazon have slowed to a trickle lately and those I have sold have been really cheap ones:( so I took a lot of my heavier and bigger books to sell today. I didn't sell them all by a long way but got rid of a few that aren't really worth my while selling on Amazon because some of them cost more to post than the postage credit Amazon give.

Made £29.40 profit so mustn't grumble. It was a really dark musty-smelling hall so it was lovely to get finished and out into the sunshine:j

    Have a great week everyone:beer:
  • Well done everyone on your money making endeavors so far. I've been busy working on the challenge but haven't got around to updating yet, so here's my efforts so far: selling on fb £11.50, interest £10, £10 amazon discount code and £60 gift for helping a relative (despite saying I didn't want it). So that's £91.50 so far. I've listed more 'treasures' on fb so hopefully they'll start moving and I've still got more to list. I really need to keep focussed this month as I'm aiming for £10 a day rather than £5. :)

Have you tried - WeBuyBooks as they give you a pre-paid postage label and seem to pay pretty quickly as well IMO. Quite a nice easy site to use as well :)

Our annual travel insurance was due today. Punted about on the comparison sites and saved £10 :j

Yes, thanks Lynne,I always try there and other bulk-buy sites but they never seem to want what I'm trying to offload:(. With lighter books I find it more profitable to sell individually on Amazon and popular paperbacks that Amazon marketplace sellers have flooded the site with at 1p each:mad: tend to go on car boot sales instead at the 40p each/3 for £1 level. It's the big, heavy coffee-table type books I have a problem with, no one really wants them:(. Have given loads to charity shops but they seem to hang fire even there!
