I uploaded an Asda receipt to COS in the wee hours of this morning and sold my mum a ring for £20 (was going to sell it to a jeweller, but when it was valued my mum decided she could afford the price), bringing my total to £24.15 — just short of my £5/day target. Quite pleased, because even £5 is an ambitious target for me
Edited to add: just received £5 Amazon voucher from Swagbucks, so I'm a little ahead of target at £29.15!Rainy day fund — 210/1000 Emergency fund — 1019/1500

Morning all:hello:
August was always going to be tight financially so I'm hoping to make as much extra as I can to cope with the day to day costs (certainly not for luxuries:eek:). Not going too well so far but I live in hope.
£4 from Pinecone banked
£6.20 MOCs used (including a £5 Pricematch voucher from Morrisons)
20p roadkill
That's a total of £10.40 added. A couple of survey redemptions claimed and waited for but not holding my breath they'll come before end of month if past experience is anything to go by:(
Good Luck, everyone:beer:0 -

Welcome and good luck to the new people:beer:
Received a £12 Amazon e-voucher from a postal survey and together with that bonus 'free' £10 for buying Amazon giftcards that Surfchik put us on to (thanks Surfchik:A) I've £22 to add to my August total. Am just about to spend it on Amazon as have a gift to buy but am counting it in my August total as the 'real' money saved is still in my bank account:j
August got off slowly for me but is picking up a little bit now:T
Enjoy the sunshine everyone (if it's as nice where you are as it is here)0 -

WOW! I love it when people really go for the win! Good luck thriftymoo!! Please keep us updated with how this one goes - I'm already impressed. Anything is possible :Tcarbootcrazy wrote: »Am just about to spend it on Amazon as have a gift to buy but am counting it in my August total as the 'real' money saved is still in my bank account:j

No worries carboot. I spent all ours on healthy supplies (coconut oil, nuts, castile soap) - trying to go as clean as possible in this house (am just a Felicity Kendell loving hippy really). Took a while to find what I wanted as the free £10 needs to be spent on stuff sold by Amazon rather than third party sellers, but you'll have no probs with books I'd imagine. And a free tenner is still a free tenner!
Few more sales on eBay £57.12 and £3 Pinecone. Thought this would be a horrendously slow month but the stars say great for us Librans, so I'm enjoying the stardust and will do best to send some out into the ether for everyone else too. GO TEAM £10 a day 2017 - APR £60.12 / MAR £82.24 / FEB £142.82 / JAN £241.240
