Managed to get off the mark with getting a £15 gift card from sb. Been saving my points for ages now. Sb seems to be much slower to get points lately.
Also got a free toblerone through app for £1, and cashed in a few receipts - some that were my own and some found for 25p.
Grand total of £16.25 at the moment. I'm a bit behind but is my first month at trying this challenge!Former Debt free wannabe. Now trying to save for a rainy day!0 -
Sorry I had an admin day at home yesterday which DS was not impressed with. One whole day in his holidays spent at home.... Omg.... Did he moan on at his Dad about it!!!
We have been out everyday and he has seen friends nearly everyday! Mostly free stuff ie the park and friend's houses but he has not been at home.
Anyway internet went out just as I was about to updateback on now but will pop back in a bit.

Hiya everyone :hello:
...... and saved £12.00 on buying some undies on multi-buy at MnS for my holiday :j

Great find, lynne:T. New undies is something I desperately need as all mine seem to have perished at the same time:eek:. I keep wearing until they are fit for nothing but rags, I like to get my full wear out of things but the end has definitely come for most of them:rotfl:
Welcome, floella:hello:. Don't worry about not being on target yet, you're doing great:T. A lot of us found the first month hard and even now a lot of us make our money very irregularly through the month but still meet the target in the end. I was once about 10 days into one month and hadn't made a penny:o but it picked up massively after that:j
Aesop. Commiserations over your connection problems. You're having a real run of bad luck with your technology etc lately, it must be a nightmare:eek:. I really hope you get it all sorted as soon as possible for your own sanity but also because we miss you:kisses3:
I had to smile about your son's attitude to having to spend a day at home. No wonder parents are worn out by the end of the school holidays. What a difference from my childhood when it was safe for us to play outside and have all sorts of adventures in woods, fields and parks without any adult supervision even from being about 5 years old. Older children in the group looked after the little ones, our parents never had a minute's worry about us (except for someone maybe falling out of a tree they were climbing;)). In fact parents only saw us for meals and at bedtime. I know modern children have so much more than us in the way of technology etc but I wouldn't have swapped my own magical childhood for anything.0 -
Can I join late please lovely Aesop? As I am just back from my jollies!! Thank goodness for the gorgeous weather in North Yorkshire, meant we spent most of our time on the beach, and that 99's are half the price that they are in the south!! Still completely broke though due to DS birthday tomorrow, and hibs and I being on holiday pay this month!
Can I try for £5 a day - £110 for the month left would be very handy!
