If you don't already have Amazon Prime will this be an incentive to get it in 2016? I think it might well sway me.

No not sufficient. Problem with Amazon, Netflix and the rest is they don't fully replace what I already have, but I don't have the time to watch enough of the another service to make the subscription worth paying. Perhaps I need to give up working!

If available pay per view might be acceptable.

It will probably get widely bootlegged as did the BBC and DVD versions anyway.

I can't think of a better reason for not getting Amazon Prime. It's time that lot went lion hunting in Zimbabwe without a bow-and-arrow.

How much does it actually cost?

    £79 for the year.

On Amazon Prime Day though i bought a set of headphones that i wanted - down from £129 to £72 so have saved most of it anyway.

PLUS, Amazon music is now available on it, so theres over a million tracks i can stream or download now too.

Is anything live on Amazon prime? £79 a year, beats paying for a TV licence if nothing is aired live.

How does the music thing work? Are there additional costs?

You must be more in the know than Amazon then:

Amazon Prime Video EU vice-president Jay Marine said: "Customers told us they wanted to see the team back on screen, and we are excited to make that happen. We can't wait to see what Jeremy, Richard, James and the team will create in what is sure to be one of the most globally anticipated shows of 2016." (my bolding).
