Sorry to let you down but this is simply not true. I worked as a managed at McDonalds for 3 years and I may have let you away with this once but more than once is unacceptable. There is no rule as to how fast 'fast food' should be prepared.
If you want old, greasy disgusting food which has been sitting out for hours then keep up this practice and you'll force the fast food companies into doing this. You have to wait because you want fresh food.0 -
evosy1978 wrote:hello all. Ive been reading about this asda return policy on mis pricing with eagerness..
I have a question for anyone that knows,
If |I find something that is mispriced, and i buy it. You say to take it to Cs and get a full refund and keep the product..
That is Tesco's policy, the one at ASDA is refund the difference and a £2 gift card.0 -
True story. A mate of mine used to lodge in Ascot, the elderly lady owner was a (genuine) millionairess.
She would on a weekly basis write to every concievable purveyor of goods that she had recently bought, and complain that for example 'the pastry on the pie wasnt golden brown after the recommended cooking time' and so on.
Result? A constant supply of freebies and £££££££s worth of vouchers!0 -
thats why she was a millionairess because she was so careful with her money!Money's too tight to mention!!!0

answer Yes you do but it would only be 15%
It makes me wonder what else I can get money off of for working for the NHS. However it seems better to shop in wilko's

mariejader wrote:Last week I went into Iceland now I had only poped out to bank some money and parked behind Iceland for conveniencem, on my way back to my car, I noticed they had their meal deal offer buy all this for £5.00 now I had £10 in my pocket so I new how much I was spending as I bought some lamb chops for £4.00 so my bill should have been £9.00 when it went through the till it was £16.75, I questioned it and the lady responded oh I bet you have the breaded onion rings and not the ones in batter, I said I have picked up one of every item in that freezer and that's what's on offer, oh no she replied our staff put the wrong onion rings in the freezer yesterday I though they would have moved them by now!! so she went and changed my onion rings and my shop total was now £9.00.
Now I saw 3 people before me purchased that deal, and did not spot it, to be honest if I had done my usual shop I would not have noticed it either, but the fact that they were aware the wrong item was in the freezer now makes me wonder if I have been caught before, they did not seem to concerned about it, and insisted that they change my product and not me
I wonder if this was deliberate! I have experienced this at some supermarkets myself. They seem to be aware of this, if we care to ask...Look after your pennies, and your pounds will look after themselves!0 -
>>....... and they have nappies behind the CS desk for anyone caught short.
Hope this is interesting to Asda shoppers! >>
So I'll know what to do next time I get caught short...:-)0 -
Happy Haggling!!! In these stores all staff can offer as much discount as they feel necessary.

Extended warranties are normally a waste of money - the first 12 months should be covered automatically by the manufacturer; the retailer also has obligations if products go wrong or are faulty which is, in the case of electrical goods, up to six years.
See the Retra website for the full details of the latter.
Some extended warranties cost, in many instances, more than the product itself....:-)0
