    Evening all,

Hope the weekend is passing pleasantly for you all.

I'm so behind its untrue, and feeling despondent at the thought of returning to work :(
Tomorrow needs to be a housey day - I'm going to see how far through downstairs I can fly. It really is turning into a pit :(
The children will have to help / entertain themselves... They've had my undivided attention for the last week and a half, but I really need to get stuff done before I'm embroiled in paid stuff again.

Wow! I am glad today is over! I double booked myself today and have had a constant stream f visitors today. The last lot have just gone and I have just put kiddies to bed!
Left the house at 8.30 this morning and I said I would drop off our specialised running buggy so some friends of ours could do the park run. Onthe way back I picked up a friend from he station. She left at 2. Other friends came at 2.30. They left at 4.30. My cousins came over with fish and chips at 5.30 and stayed all evening. Kids have had a great time. So although we have talked lots about our plans for the house, nothing got done apart from a general tidy up! Lovely day wad have by all though!

I will try and do a little tomorrow although hubby is out tonight so he will probably have a hang over tomorrow and be good for nothing!

    Night all x x

Same here. And having to deal with all the other things that I have not been thinking about all week!

Going to try and have some feet up time today but first need to sort the rest of the washing mountain, do my finance spreadsheets and maybe a little more kondoing.

Isnt it cold? Thought about getting my winter jim jams out last night!!! I need some sunshine.

    Morning all

Sorry to hear of your loses MrsPP and MsGnomey, take time and be kind to yourselves.

YL - I'm always having a rethink of life and find holidays perfect for that, keep inspired and don't let going back to work get you down.

Cricket yesterday so lots still to do at home, I'll start with hoovering in a minute and then a shower and some hedge cutting. More cricket this afternoon but not sure how much I'll watch as DS3 has another match on Monday which I'll be at.

Decc well done on swapping your utilities.

Narco I still have fruit in the freezer from last year. I need a sort out but have not frozen much this year. Think I'll make a pie of mixed fruit today a I have some pastry left and see what it turns out like.

I hope you all have the same sunshine we have today.

    Morning,

I've been a good FLYLADY this morning. I've tackled the grotty kitchen! In the last hour I've:

Cleared all my work tops, put out the rubbish and recycling, put a wash on, found homes for the bits of shopping left out last night, washed down all the tops, cupboard fronts, hob, oven doors (mirrored, can actually see in them now :o), fridge, washer, toaster. Set DW going, flung some carp, cleared out my handbag, cleaned the sinks and drainer and sorted out the wine slots (that mostly home to juice bottles haha among other things like stray envelopes, vitamins, various chargers and postage stamps!)

    Phew.

I then put the kettle on and made a brew - and here I am!

Oh I also folded some dry laundry - need to continue. Will need to hang the wet stuff indoors today I think :(

  • Morning all,

Been a bad flylady. In the doldrums yesterday. Nothing done, not even the daily stuff. Not even dressed yet. Did socialising twice yesterday and was not in the mood for people (I sometimes get like this) . Now OH busy organising walk with friends and their children for after lunch, and we are going to inlaws for tea. Oh well, best crack on if I am to achieve anything. Just want to curl up with a book and do nothing.

I am going to cheer up! Have a good Sunday all, x

Ahhbiscuit I feel a bit antisocial today...

Dinner cooked, scoffed and cleaned up after so kitchen still in good shape apart from the floor.

Just having half an hour in the garden - not v bright today but it's rather warm and pleasant all the same. Kiddies are using the last of the big chalks to draw all round the garden :) so I'm just watching and listening to the chit chat between them.

Dining room CLEARED and CLEANED wooty wooty woot woot

used air duster to blow flies (dead) out of light fitting (can't get my duster in; other option is a complete dismantle!) and have cleaned PC desk and innards at the same time!

Carp moved out of car and into kitchen. Some sorted and binned.

eeked at cat who brought in her latest kill dripping the red stuff and my stomach turned. DS was called in to wipe up...am quite put off the idea of a cat flap...
