Evening all! Spoons to anyone who needs them xxx

Today I have hoovered the spare room, bathroom, landing, master bedroom and study

been to drs to have BP checked (still too high :eek:) got to go back next week for blood test and BP again (will have to think calming thoughts) mind you my mother in law died just over a week ago and as she lived next door we were quite close. OH is taking it badly but he used to sit with her each day while his dad went down the street to get the shopping so his routine is totally changed and he's a bit lost :(
Not really surprising my BP is up!!

Went out for lunch with DD

    took her home

Made an appointment for a hair cut next week (much needed)

Then took OH over to his friend's house to pick something up (30 mins each way)

Finally I decided to do something for me and went out for a nice long walk with my headphones in, managed 7,500 ish steps

then OH walked round the block with me so I could get to 10,000 for the day

    Off to bed now

Going to see my mum and dad tomorrow so will be up early as they're 100 miles away.
    zzzzzzzz
Go hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last

    Morning all!
Thanks for the comments about the room - definetly a case of many hands as the two of us have been in plus our retiring colleague boosted our number some of the time! The dust is the worse thing as the cleaner does not have enough time other than for level one IYSWIM - she has the whole building to sort.
Managed a DW run and WM x 2 also almost all my ironing is up to date so pleased about that. Retiring colleague is musing about hiring me to go and help her sort and throw like a proper organiser! I already have amateur experience of this as I do it for my baby sister!
Got an errand to do later.
Eta. Where are my manners? Hope you all have a fabulous Flying Friday and special thoughts for Cycling and Wolfie x

    Morning

I have sorted the airing cupboard. Ds1 is at work soon and couldn't find swimming trunks. This got me thinking that may I will put his ironing in a separate basket and he can do his own.

I also need to make a list with him about stuff for uni. So far he has duvet cover, sheet, pillowcase, flannels, towels, oven gloves, tea, towels (mugs, plates, dishes, cutlery, glasses) 4 of each in a box although I think I may only send 2 sets as I don't think he will have much storage space.
I would appreciate any suggestions about what else we should get.

    Wm is on.

    Happy anniversary Frizzle x
    Love the Photo LW.x
Dusty hope ds3 is improving x
Sorry for your loss msgnomy. Calming blood pressure vibes x
CY hope you are feeling ok today x

I plan to take ds2 out today as I need to source a present for my bstf. I have tried to look online but I haven't found anything.

Yesterday I had a surprise my mum and dad popped around. I can't remember the last time this happened. My Mum struggled to get in and when ready to go she couldn't get up. We had to try to lift her. I wasn't much help as I have a poorly shoulder. I think it may be their last visit.

Wm has just finished so I think it is time for a HHC

Thinking of all those having a rough time ATM.

Struggling this week due to stress bought on by company doing guttering etc outside, a leak behind washer ruining flooring and a argument between hubby's family argh. Doing Dd room today and catching up with washing. Waiting for he desk to arrive and tesco shop. Go away a week on Monday and looking forward to it but dreading it at the same time lol

Afternoon all. Have done nothing all week, well apart from a 3 hours mammoth ironing task on Wednesday. I can't even be bothered to clear up the dirty mugs lying on the draining board..it's that bad.

I've got my niece staying from tonight till Monday and I really need to get the house in some sort of semblance and I just don't feel like it. I am seriously considering throwing everything in various cupboards out of sight..it will look nice and tidy then.. Then all I will have to do is run the hoover around.. Oh how simple would that be :D

I suppose the first thing I should do is have a shower..can't stay on the sofa all day can I..especially when I have to pick niece up later this afternoon.

I even thought that after the heat wave had gone I would want to do stuff..nope how wrong I was..lol

Flying wise the washing up needs to be done and then the washing machine should have finished, so I can put the washing outside to dry - if it does as it's a bit grey here now.

CY hope you are starting to feel better today honey.

Valli have you done your tax credits? :D

Hugs and spoons to everyone that needs them.. I have a few spare if anyone wants them. :D
