Waves at Charlie from the other side of a certain misshapen spire!

Have begun to gather in laundry from line, work tea towels are ironed so will go back today, along with monkey which is now dry.

Have had mammoth sock pairing session. Not entirely successful as there are some odds left but lots sorted. Hated job.

Oh pooh, I just typed a long rant and didn't copy it so of course the internet promptly had a hissy fit and lost it. Lucky you lot being spared it. In a nutshell it said please someone press the pause button on life as I can't keep up with it (not depressed, just overwhelmed). I admire all of you who can manage children as well as work, flying and life.

    So far today I've
    - taken the car for MOT
    - Hung out one load of washing
    - Added to my already long list
    - Spent ages trying to find a b&b for Mr N's birthday - he is being unusually indecisive as to what he wants to do; first London (no b&b required), then he thought of RSPB Minsmere (hence the b&b) then talked about taking his mum out somewhere to a National Trust place.
-caught up with some very overdue posting/surveys

Oh dear that's not a lot for the time it's taken. Plus keeping up with emails.

Lunch now. Hope everyone else is doing better than me.

I know what you mean, narc0 I wanted to do so much on my week off, yet I've got back to work on my mind already :(

About to drop DD with a neighbour, then take DS and neighbours son to a party. Will be dashing back, hopefully to my mother arriving, then I'm going out with friends.

My bedroom has had some attention today :T I did some more decluttering- how many cosmetic bags / pouches does one person need? I only ever use one when travelling. Looked through hair stuff too - clips I haven't worn in years. Since I plan to have quite a ruthless chop when we return from hols, I'm getting rid. Some headbands have gone to DD and some scrunchies in my little case for hols.

I've dyed my hair. It's rather coppery. Which it didn't say on the box. But, I actually quite like it, looks very rich and feels soft. I'm swishing as I type :rotfl:

I'm a bad, bad Flylady. Only managing what's necessary for hygiene this week, what with the two little Westies to see to, and still in the midst of a flare. They're super little dogs though; can't believe they've only got two more nights staying with us!

I haven't bored you all with doggy pics for ages, so here they are.:D

Narco you've done more than me.
I've faffed about in the bedroom cupboards but have cleared a couple of carriers of stuff out, one rubbish one for the CS
I've read a book ( a children's quick read, I'm addicted to Michael morpurgo at the mo, and as my kids aren't in the slightest interested in them I'm going to read them all then donate them to the school library at the end of the holiday.)
Nipped in hairdressers as she texted me to swP my appt to tomorrow.
Battered with a neighbour and agreed to do some baby knitting for her if I can find the right patterns
Fed me Dh and DS2 and texted a friend re wether or not the boys want to continue explorers after summer.

Aww LW they are very cute

Bossy your hair sound like you are very happy with it, you might change your mind about the chop if you are so happy swishing

Dusty hope Ds3 starts feeling much better very soon

    LW they are lovely.

    - Just collected car, MOT passed.
    - Posted an invoice and report. Remembered to write a birthday card and promptly left it on kitchen table :( but her birthday isn't till Monday so I can post it tomorrow.
    - paid for car tax

I'm about to kondo-fold contents of washbasket, then I'm jolly well going to go and do some gardening which is what I'd hoped to do most of the day. Feeling a little calmer now anyway.

PS very envious of anyone who can swish hair; mine is very thin and fine (family trait - several females in family resorted to a wig way before my age. I'm resisting as it wouldn't do for zumba or gardening!).
