Ahhh...just sat down with a cuppa. Three lots of WM and TD done plus a HHI some of DH's work shirts. Super-super new fangled steam iron told me it needs descaling and shut down in preparation! I'll have to get DH to drag the TD out of the way to unplug the iron and descale it later! Been to the Post Office with a large handful of letters and an overdue parcel and picked up some butter, which I've needed for a few days. DS1 conned me into buying a children's magazine, then spent 10 minutes trying to decide from the huge choice available...

Can't remember what else I've done already but I'm pooped after Tiny's birthday yesterday. Thank you for all the birthday wishes yesterday - very kind. I'm pleased to report that he was very spoilt and is tired today after a late bedtime.

So I've flipped the mattress, dysoned all through, washed kitchen and bathroom floors, emptied and washed bins, did an load of washing and hung it on the maiden, cleared a table and set up a jigsaw, moved small table into kitchen, washed down walking frame and made a phone call re hospital appt.ive come home for a rest now!

Hoover and mop kitchen and hall
    Clean kitchen/ hall windows

Not feeling at all in the mood for cleaning anything :(:(:(:(

As I've never felt in the mood for cleaning I have every sympathy. *kick*

Neighbour and I skived off and took Kelpie for a walk via the ferry. He was a bit better coping with it but clearly needs more practise runs on it. ;)

Pitchforking the office is therefore going to be slightly less of a deep clean than I'd intended ;). I might have to think about it again at some point later in the week as someone is finding their digs elsewhere very unpleasant (he's a non-smoker, 'nuf said) and may be desperate enough to kip in there for three weeks. The offer's made, anyway. Come of think of it, a bloke, so maybe he won't notice the antique dust layers. You are therefore off the hook, Ionafan, but I strongly suspect you'll do yours properly anyway - if the positions were reversed I'd just breathe a deep sigh of relief!

Carpets sucked on the top floor and ... er, that's it.
    Better is good enough.

Need a quick kick up the a***
I think your GUAG has probably gone AWOL with mine - hope it's back soon and here's a virtual kick as requested :rotfl:

I've pushed myself on to get something done and so dusted and generally tidied throughout as that didn't seem too onerous.

Just de-cluttering a cuppa whilst waiting for freezer one to finish defrosting so I can wipe out and refill.

I have cleared and re-cleaned the kitchen and ham is out defrosting to make ham and leek bake for dinner.

Waving from the sofa. Had an impromptu trip to hospital this morning. UTI diagnosed (sigh) and double strength antibiotics given.

The queue in the hospital pharmacy was incredible. By the time I'd got my prescription I was so hungry we had to go and get food at C***a. Added to a taxi each way it has been an expensive day.

I would be completely lost without DD2 at the moment.
    :jFlylady and proud of it:j
