Slowly managing my way through the lists, I have also sorted out DD1 bedroom as she returns today, taken the dog to the vet to get a couple of teeth out and a scale clean (still waiting on the phone call for when I can collect him), collected DD2 friend for a sleep over and once again using the TD as heavy heavy rain here.

    Give your sink a polish
Where is the mop brigade? Clean that floor!

I have done some stuff in the house but I've also been to the back for my mum, collected DD2 from our friend, nipped to see another friend and went with DD2 to see Grandma so she could get help with some application forms.
I still have the bathroom (and kitchen) floor to do :o

Ok, so I saw Bossy's instruction to clean some tiles (admittedly from yesterday) and decided to do the kitchen ones. Some of the tiles had transfers on so I decided to remove those, but oh getting the sticky stuff off...anyway, thats the afternoon gone.

Time to prepare tea now, delivery here, not quite the mayhem I expected. DH has been brilliant.

    See you all tomorrow.

Oh that is good news kazw glad he's better!

Did some ironing this afternoon and fluttered in kitchen.

Day at home tomorrow. We are going to do "mum school". Little chat with DS about past, present and future tenses, so we are going to find some word matches for those. And DD is going to practice writing could, would, should and so on, as these cropped up in her book of choice tonight.

We'll also sort through the mountain of artwork on the DR table and start our scrapbooks :)

Filling went well - was to replace a lost one so didn't need a jab - phew!

And back to work chucking and scrubbing. Light (end of tunnel type) visible - only a small one but clearly getting bigger. House is a tip still but DS has made me a nice drinky so I'm no longer bothered *hic*

Mainly at cricket today but it was fun getting to know another Mum I know a bit but now know a lot better.

Did an hour in the garden when I got home as garden bin day tomorrow (always makes me think of Toots, she used to laugh at my bin filling antics). Oh and I cleaned the shower room and kitchen windows.

Paid stuff for me tomorrow and my free day on Friday is now a cricket day and all non work days next week at cricket days. Garden and house really suffering but hey the season will end in no time.

  • Hi - quick update - sts at sw! scales seem to be a little out as another target member thought the same. To ease disappointment have had a cake and coffee this pm and a steak night!!! So the scales'll be correct tomorrow!!DH is not good for my dieting when he is off work!

Baking tomorrow before Museum coffee morning - then trip to a new caf! fdor brunch before my afternoon shift. Not much flying going on but getting lots of clearing though.

Hope everyone is OK - catch up maybe Thursday?

MMM so pleased your OH is home

Dusty your weather must be better than ours as our cricket was rained off last night (although ds 2 is away at scout camp so wasn't playing anyway) and today's weather wasn't much better

Kazwookie glad to hear your AGS is better

Only the basics done in the kitchen today but OH and I did rearrange the furniture in the LR. OH also sorted out the tangle of wires at the back of the TV. I think the LR looks better like it is now but OH wasn't sure, he said he would leave it till tomorrow and see...ds1 came in the room and said why have you done that I don't like it. He said when I watch the TV I like to sit on that settee...that is such a rare occurrence it's not really worth considering:rotfl:
