Bossy- I remember when ds1 wanted to play this all the time, in his final year at nursery/first year at school. It was so much fun! The closest thing I get now is "can I do some work books!!' He is a little geek! He is has only just finished year one!

    Oops - have just woken!
Pegged out washing (towels and class reward pillow pet which is awarded to be sat on) in jammies. Shall slurp a coffee then shower then start on the pit which is Villa Vile as I wish to reclaim my home! Work later.
I shall start with the kitchen and hopefully get to the bathroom too.

  • Good Morning Everyone :T

BossiMoo your post did make me smile too, so lovely!

Not posting a list today as decided to get on with stripping the wall paper in the living room yesterday so not much point with cleaning. Trying to persuade dd to go and choose some wallpaper with me, but I'm on a hiding to nothing I think.

Not a great day yesterday - my resignation was accepted. I felt a bit sad but know it is the right thing to have done so that is a tick.

Went to take home work back and have a cuppa with my friend, took dd with me and my friend's highly strung dog went for my daughter's face, dd (9) was just sitting next to me, cuddling into me, so don't know why the dog did it. My friend was mortified. Slight mark on dd check, but could have been a lot worse.

My friend is going to the Vets today ... all very upsetting, I can't stop thinking about it.

Anyway another grey day here, not good for the mental health! Look forward to hearing how everybody's day has gone.

  • MrsPepperpot, that sounds awful. I'm glad your dd wasn't more seriously hurt. Dogs can be strange creatures...I hope it all gets resolved and the vet can get to the bottom of such strange behaviour.

Msgnomey-here's a polite kick up the bottom! Why not give yourself a time limit and see how much you can get done in that time!

Kids have been helping this morning. So polishing living Room, washing up, and clearing the garden have all been done thanks to ds1's help!

I'm ready for lunch but will try and do those blooming hall doors so I can finally tick it off my list!!

    Left to do...

    Wipe down doors in hallway
Empty ds2s room in prep for decorating!

    Consider it done ;)

I have made some progress but not quite finished all my crafty bits yet. One FF has been defrosted and sorted but not the other.

DH rang the GP surgery at 08.30 and got an appointment for medication review at 09.50 :) On the way back he broke his dental plate, so now has an appointment with the dentist at 08.5 tomorrow :(

It has started raining, just as I was thinking of grabbing the things from the shed for the CS and going out shopping  Will carry on indoors instead - need to make a phonecall which will hopefully simplify my day tomorrow!
