Hoovering, sweeping, mopping finished and a few more door frames wipes. S&Sing through house as I go. Fourth load of washing is staying in machine, but found room for all the others on the airer.

It's amazing how much you can get done when you don't have to do paid stuff and its raining outside.

CY- good to hear from you.

Had a productive morning and boys have been happy crafting and watching TV. No arguments- bliss!

Got a little distracted in the kitchen as I cleaned the Venetian blind which was minging! Took ages butIt's come up really well! Also cleaned the double patio doors and all the surrounds which hadn't been done since we moved in! So that was a job well done. Going to make kids lunch and take them to a soft play areas they have been so good and then. Will do the shopping on the way back!

Mornin all! I can hear the kids playing wth goodness knows what in the living room so really need to get out of bed and sort them out! Just posting my list before I do!

DH is half-way through a re-shuffle of his man shed, but as a result most of the rest of the house is generally clean and tidy - the exception being my study/spare bedroom aka RoD, which has to be cleared by Friday for DGS3. I'll do my study if you'll do yours, HB ;)

Oh yes, and we've still got 10.5 unwanted rolls of brand-new aluminium lawn edging cluttering up the garden shed (why DH bought 11 instead of 1 is beyond me ) so I want to sneak them off to the CS this afternoon, then I will be able to reach the garden tools without having to clamber over the box.

Deal, on the Rooms of Doom - I need to get mine done by Wednesday evening. *sob* I have to say, you're a braver woman than I am taking anything out of your OH's shed and giving it to charity. There's very little my OH is super-possessive about, but the shed contents are in that category. I've put the carpet washer in there temporarily and that caused a lot of comments, none of them of the kind or flattering categories.

Off to dentist shortly for filling.

    Hope that went okay. *shudder*

Healing vibes CY and a  for you.

    Any news of Piggers?

It's my shed, I'm the gardener. It does contain DH's bike, but that's because I won't have it indoors :rotfl: The bike's not been used since we moved here 2 years ago, so if it doesn't get taken for a ride soon, it's likely to be moved out permanently :p

    :hello:
Been out all morning swimming and wave pools and slides etc. My eyes feel like they're going to pop out. Was really great though. Took DS down the big slide on my knee, he loved it and went on 4 more times :) even persuaded DD, she came once but then said that was enough :rotfl: to be fair you do hit a wall of water at the bottom - I had to put my hands over her face :D she even swam about 5m without arm bands :T

We are home now, they are in their onesies watching a DVD. Shattered!

So the WM is on, with our swimmies. I want to put my feet up but my kitchen needs attention.

Aww DD new ballet gear arrived, she looks adorable in it :)

Seemed to take an age to get going with the kitchen today :/ didn't start well due to doing a big shop and meal planning session which seemed to create a lot of mess!! Oh well, all done now and 25 meals planned and shopped for. Kitchen is now clean, animals fed and tea in cooking.

Once tea is done I will sort dishes, get kids in bed and watch some Merlin with a couple of G&T's - think I deserve it. Need to do some EOM comps too, ready for Christmas :p

Hope everyone has had a good day :) Happy birthday to Master Dizzy Imp - hpe a fantastic day was had :)

  • A few bits left over in bathroom from yesterday so will concentrate on doing that this eve. Kitchen was given a deep clean on Sunday as I reached my wits end with it! We'd been on holiday the previous week and it wasn't clean before we left :( less to do in there this week though now! :)

I hope Piggers knows that we all miss her wit (and wisdom), and that there won't be any fuss when she comes back (as well all know she doesn't like that sort of thing). Glad to hear she's ok and Facebooking though.

Seen round mils filled up the garden waste bin (still a load more to cram in over the next few weeks)
Have had a tidy through and hung washing out so may think about going through the photo cupboard and seeing if I can finally get round to putting some on the digital photo frame DD1 got me a few years ago.
