Loved hearing about Miss Mummy's school!
Me too. It reminds me of when my DD was 9, I was doing some supply teaching at her school and had to take her class for science. In a bit of a flap, she called me "Mrs Mummy" - and has regretted her slip of the tongue ever since :rotfl:

Pitchforking the office is therefore going to be slightly less of a deep clean than I'd intended ;) ... You are therefore off the hook, Ionafan, but I strongly suspect you'll do yours properly anyway - if the positions were reversed I'd just breathe a deep sigh of relief!

    And breathes... :p

Thank you, Honey Bear. I don't know about doing it "properly", but I will try to to bring some semblance of order into this room this evening. I have an hour before I have to cook tea, so will get stuck in again immediately.

Things left on my list for today:

    - Finish resource box (WAS hoping to get this done before 10:00 :rotfl: :rotfl: - so now high priority):
Box labels - forgot earlier that these still had to be done
    Packing and returns
    Hem cloths
    Checklist
    - Filing, general tidying and cleaning in study, including windows
    - Make up bed
    - Deliver birthday card - should have done this when I went out shopping - will do it tomorrow (friend's birthday on Sunday, so still in good time)
    - Download photos and forward - after tea
    - Phone or email a friend - after tea
    - Finish phone diary and birthday list (only Nov and Dec to do now) - in front of the TV this evening

Quite a productive day so far :) and I now have a bit of space in my shed and a bit more in the utility :D

CY oh no, that's just adding insult to injury, isn't it? Hope it clears up quickly.

MMM glad to hear your DH is home; if he's anything like mine, he'll convalesce much better in his own surroundings, and you won't be using precious time and energy with trips to and from the horse-piddle every day.

Had a lovely time at the party, everybody was very friendly.

DS3 slipped down hill again, another rough night ahead and not sure I'll be able to go to work tomorrow as DS2 is going to work. Going to see if I can log into the systems at home and if I can see if I can go in, get paperwork and then work at home.

Time for an hour's flying now to stop me falling asleep and I need to get some dinner and reply to some texts and emails.

CY sorry today has been rubbish, hoping tomorrow is so much better.

Have cleaned kitchen and bathroom, so house no longer quite so vile. Have also collected garbage and binned it as tomorrow is black bin day. Then went to work - light is MUCH bigger and we can see the tunnel exit! More stuff flung; straight into skip. Boss wasn't there so we couldn't move any of the stuff by the main door as we cannot unlock that door - and there was no way we were going to drag it round the building when the skip is on the outside of the main door. Expect boss will be shocked when he realises the skip is already a third full...
Been to foodtasting *kerching* and have leftover samples (fruit - yum)

Also scrounged a discarded trellis as I need one for my clematis.

Dusty I hope DS3 feels better tomorrow.
CY I hope your UTI clears up quickly.

not a lot of flying today, again.
Ordered new freezer. Bit miffed as the web site said next-day delivery; I ordered it at 9am today and delivery is Friday. Shame as I'm home bound tomorrow depending how long it takes to get the car MOT'd.

Owing to freezer ordering and rushing round tidying the lounge/dining room before this afternoon's assessment, I didn't get to Body Pump. I turned up for Body Attack and the instructor was off, so it was being covered by another who did a half hour Grit Cardio class then half hour CX works. Well you could have wrung me out afterwards. Doubtless it did me good, and I enjoyed it in a gasping sort of way. Awarded myself a C0sta on the way home.

Hung out a load of washing.
    Did assessment.
Watered greenhouse, tied up tomato plants which were sprawling everywhere.

Oh that can't be the sum of it; how shameful. Must check yesterday's list and see how that is going..........

And we've had confirmation that our new windows will be fitted starting 17 Aug. So that means lots of decluttering and tidying beforehand; nothing during the week they are being done and loads of cleaning and decorating afterwards. Hm. I'm looking forward to a warmer, quieter house. We're only a small village but it is used as a rat run, and it is really noticeable especially if I have a student 4-5pm how much traffic there is.
