Thanks lovely people
I'm not feeling much brighter but have managed to make it into work today - feeling rotten and it's difficult to use the computer with the swirling lights in my left eye making a reappearance but I'm powering through for now.
I don't want to use the extra couple of days holiday that I have on being off right before mat leave - I am rather hoping for a Dec payout for those to ease the budgets before I have to return to work - the amount would be pretty similar to donuts first months nursery fees which would help hugely!
Things at work and at home are still stressful, no sign of easing currently but I'm working on it xx:j PAID VERY, Barclaycard x3, Vanquis, Natwest, O/D, Tesco & MBNA x2 PAID :j LBM 24/07/15 - Original Debt: £0/31010.23 (100% paid)

I managed another half day today so at least that's only 1 days holiday gone - better than nothing!
Have a full day in on Monday because of an ISO stage 1 audit prep day, with the actual audit being on 7th Feb so another full day there.
All seems well at work - my right hand lady has received a temp payrise from Feb to take over some of my responsibilities and it's quite a hefty raise so she is happy. I'll be increasing her normal wage when I get back from mat leave anyway, she's fab and if all goes well while I'm off I have enough reason to take it to the powers that be for final approval. I'm feeling a lot more relaxed about while I am off. It probably won't last but it's nice for now!
I'm looking forward to the nursery furniture arriving tomorrow, I can't wait for the room to be finished! My little sister has offered to do my hair before my baby shower too, which will be nice as I'm feeling a bit rubbish at the moment. Nothing major, just a realisation that I'm huge and don't feel nice in anything so it will be nice to have a treat
Took advantage of the £10 off amazon code yesterday and stocked up on mayo (I'm a hellmans light snob), fabric softener, pasta and tortilla wraps. All things we will need so money has come out of the grocery budget and my stock pile is looking very healthy, especially washing stuff
Hope everyone has that Friday feeling and has a lovely weekend plannedxx

Hi Kirsty. I hope things get a bit easier for you this week at work and home. Your savings are amazing, you have done so well in the last year. I can't believe how quick your pregnancy is going, in no time at all you will be on your maternity leave. Your nursery sounds lovely. I am loving grey at the moment but DD said not grey again when I was going on about painting a different room lol.
Your grandparents sound a lot like mine were. They always used that saying but I can remember my granddad said that if you have to have something on tick lol then only have one thing at a time. I also had my dad saying save half of your wages. I could kick myself for not listening. DD is being really good with her wages but I think that is because she has seen how I have struggled having debt and I've said it's not a life I want for her. She has the odd splurge but she has savings, she has bought a car, cash, and is now dreaming about being a property owner so that she can rent them all out. She is still on an apprenticeship though so hopefully she gets a decent wage when she's completed that. She is also paying for her driving lessons which is a weight off my shoulders.
Take care hun.

Hi all,
I've been rubbish againalthough not having posted for a few days may well have saved me from the hackers/spammers who have caused all the issues. Feel so sorry for the people whose big diaries have been deleted - I'm going to try and back mine up as I love reading back how far I've come.
Hi TinkTell DD grey is the best colour ever :rotfl: she sounds like such a star, and sensible too - perfect combination. You did good
Nursery is all finished and my mom and dad turned up with 2 cars loaded to the brim with baby stuff we have been storing at theirs - my mom has gone slightly overboard as I know there is some stuff that has arrived that I definitely haven't ordered - 62 packs of baby wipes or a high chair anyone?! I'm sure I'll be grateful for them but OH is very overwhelmed by all the stuff at the moment. I'm trying to go through it slowly as I don't want to just pile everything in the nursery and not be able to get in there to sort it.
I'm still being rubbish about packing my hospital bag though - I've done one for baby but after my panic a couple of weeks ago about it, sorting it out actually makes it seem very realI can't put it off forever though, so will try and do it on Saturday. I'm back at the hospital this afternoon for another growth scan - fingers crossed his growth has levelled out and I'm not predicted to give birth to the hulk anymore :rotfl:
Things are better at home too - I think we both underestimated my hormonal mood swings and I'm letting stupid stuff flare up into a massive problem, which it takes me a while to calm down from....not ideal! xx:j PAID VERY, Barclaycard x3, Vanquis, Natwest, O/D, Tesco & MBNA x2 PAID :j LBM 24/07/15 - Original Debt: £0/31010.23 (100% paid)

Exciting with all the baby stuff and nursery being decorated.
My DD and her husband are in the process of decorating their fourth bedroom to move my 2 and a half year old granddaughter to so her present nursery will be the new babys bedroom as it is smaller. DGD2 is due in early May so they have a few months but they now have the new pram as their one they had for DGD1 fell to bits so they have had to get a new one. They ordered a carrycot with this one which they did not get for their first baby. My DD thinks as it will be summer when the baby is small she will do more walking than she did with her first and newborns are not supposed to go in the carseat for more than a certain amount of time apparently. They have also gone for a next to me crib rather than moses basket. Who said the second wasn't just as expensive as the first

It's such a lovely time, so exciting!
My sister is having the same second baby expense issues! My niece is only 15 months and not out of pushchair yet, so she will need a double that will convert back to a single when the eldest will walk, and she has expensive tastes, of course! They have also just decorated their spare bedroom for little one so baby can have the nursery and she is also due in May - lots in common there! xx:j PAID VERY, Barclaycard x3, Vanquis, Natwest, O/D, Tesco & MBNA x2 PAID :j LBM 24/07/15 - Original Debt: £0/31010.23 (100% paid)

Good luck with getting the baby stuff all unpacked & sorted, it can feel a bit overwhelming at first!
I took a while to pack my own hospital bag too, totally get where you’re coming from there. You’ll feel better once you’ve done it though.
All the diaries being deleted is horrible & I hope they can get it sorted.
