Thanks all, now a few important phone calls have taken place I can tell you all on here too....

We are having a baby :D

We found out 10 days ago and it's super early days and makes it so much worse being so poorly at the moment because all I'm doing is worrying about the baby and the effect my illness might be having - especially with my temperature sky rocketing and it still isn't anywhere near normal.

We have a scan in 2 weeks to see if everything is progressing ok and check if there is a heartbeat.

We contemplated keeping it to ourselves until the 12 week scan, but we both figure that if anything should happen, I don't want to have to keep it a secret and I'm excited to tell everyone here who has been part of the last 2 years of working towards this :D

Thank you! I've been deliberately staying off here since we found out because I knew I'd slip up, but we finally told the last of the close family today (OHs brothers and sister) having told my parents and sister last week and his parents last night :)

Fantastic news. How thrilled you must be after your health issues. Good luck with the pregnancy and your new little one.

It's so strange that next week was our first infertility clinic appointment, it was surreal to call and cancel it knowing that it actually happened naturally!
