    Evening everyone!

There's not much going on money wise, I've made another couple of mortgage OPs this week as it's payday tomorrow and my personal account was looking quite healthy :)

I can't wait for the next DD for OHs CC to go out as it will be under £800 :D I feel like I'm wishing my life away at the moment - I'm either counting down until the next month of TTC or counting down to the next Mortgage DD or CC DD!! I think I need to concentrate on being grateful for what I have and not wishing time away.

OHs account is looking quite healthy and he is being quite good with his spending money too, and that is a weight off my mind!

My grandparents have been away for 10 days on a vineyard cruise in France and I've really missed talking to them. The first thing I did when I got home was call because I was pretty sure they'd be home already and they were. They're such superstars, I really need to get back up to visit them again soon so need to factor the fuel spends in.

NZ savings fund will have another boost tomorrow when I get paid, I love seeing the figures go up, even if it means the mortgage and OHs CC aren't going down as much as they could be at the moment.

All in all, a fairly good month this far and I'm happy with how everything is progressing. As long as we stick to the spreadsheet we should have a significant amount of savings this time next year, which will help both of us feel more secure :)

    Hello everyone :)

Not a very MSE weekend as I had acupuncture on Saturday and then on Sunday we went to meet a group of my oldest friends and their little ones for a meal. £20 a head so could have been worse and it came from budgeted entertainment funds but I'd have liked to have spent less if I'm honest...shocker :rotfl:

Also involved over an hours drive each way so not the best on the fuel budget. Will need to shuffle to make that work this month as there are a few unplanned journeys coming up, like to see my niece now they are back from holiday as it seems AGES since I saw her <3

NZ fund is coming along nicely...which is good because I want it up to target in August payday so we can start other savings with Septembers pay.

Wow. I've just finished reading your diary from the beginning. Spent every evening since Monday reading it. To repeat what someone else has said, it has been like a novel. Pretty much every emotion possible documented throughout your journey. Genuinely inspirational. Obviously I've subscribed in anticipation of the next chapter of your life x

Gosh Mummy_bear, thank you so much for sticking with my ramblings! I'm sure it was incredibly boring at times, but looking back, a lot really has happened in just over 2 years! Thank you so much for your lovely comments.

I'm still plodding along over here, made some small payments to OHs CC and some to the 0% card that the flights are on. Coming down slowly but surely and means I get to keep the funds in savings :D

Not much planned this weekend, other than acupuncture as usual. Were planning to see my Grandparents but fuel budget has taken a hit from trips to see the tiny tearaway that is the niece this week. She's amazing though <3

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend x

Well my weekend didn't exactly go as planned - I ended up in hospital on Saturday with suspected systemic inflammatory response syndrome - 2x cannulas, 2 blood cultures and an arterial blood gas later and I was feeling very sorry for myself and looking a bit like a colander!
Had 2 lots of IV antibiotics and fluids and then they let me come home with lots of antibiotics but boy do I feel rotten. Am having to have a few days off work to recover but given that I had to get rid of a problematic member of staff and had a new starter today who I should have been training, it's causing quite a bit of stress.

I'm not really able to climb stairs without stopping for a break so I'm getting a bit frustrated, but hopefully it will start easing off soon.

On that note I'm going to try and have a nap because I feel shattered!
