I'm still not used to seeing my signature reduced down so much!!
I started beating myself up a bit yesterday, thinking that maybe I should have kept the money in a savings account ready to pay the CCs when the 0% period ended but it is much better for my peace of mind to have them gone. As much as interest would have been nice to have been paid the other way for once, mentally I am in a much more healthy place, especially regarding our future
I def think you have done the right thing!!! Can't wait for you to be debt free xxDebt £30,823.48/£44,856.56 ~ 06/02/21 - 31.28% Paid OffMortgage (01/04/09 - 01/07/39)

Enjoy looking at your new signature.:T
Hope you had a nice time with the dog, they are lovely to have around I agree. We only have cats and we do love their funny little characters & would like a dog but it wouldn't be fair to have one with the shifts we work. I like to play with other people's dogs though.Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Car loan 1 £14,060, Car loan 2 £10,843 . Hey Kirsty,
I'm very impressed - you have done really well in such a relatively short period of time. Congratulations!

Thank you all!
PB I'm not very good at bum kicking but you already have the motivation - small(ish) setbacks are normal, you'll be back to MFW soon enough
I have been my usual terrible self at updating
I haven't fallen off the wagon as have still been making OPs to mortgage and OHs CC but I really need to start updating properly! This is the final push really but the idea was 'spare' money which was used for debt repayments would now go to NZ savings and that hasn't happened I need to stop making OPs but it's so addictive! No point if we then have to put more on a CC to cover the trip, I'll be back to square one!
My acupuncture seems to be bruising me less now and I have noticed a difference in certain things which make me feel that it is doing something. My pain is much reduced, I wish I'd done acupuncture years ago if I'm honest!
Hope everyone is well! I'm doing a lot of reading and running at the moment - we have set the wii up and I'm determined to lose weight so am doing that of an evening, plus I've started a new medication which is having some unpleasant side effects and I'm sleeping a lot.:j PAID VERY, Barclaycard x3, Vanquis, Natwest, O/D, Tesco & MBNA x2 PAID :j LBM 24/07/15 - Original Debt: £0/31010.23 (100% paid)

I have the same problem with overpayments ... they are really addictive! I've had to be strict with myself and not make OPs as soon as I receive "extra" money but wait until I find out the sofa (if its possible to repair, or if we have to buy a new one :eek )0

I never would have thought that overpaying CCs would become a habit that I didn't want to break - this time 4 years ago I was more focused on increasing the amount on the CCs
How times change
Hope the sofa can be fixed GC - G plan are such a reliable brand that I'm sure they will have a spare part for you somewhere:j PAID VERY, Barclaycard x3, Vanquis, Natwest, O/D, Tesco & MBNA x2 PAID :j LBM 24/07/15 - Original Debt: £0/31010.23 (100% paid)

Well done on all your running, that's great Kirsty. The feel good factor alone is going to give you a huge boost. Sorry the new meds are making you feel very tired though, hope that will level off soon." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D
