Jockett................take care of yourself, you and your family need time to grieve............you especially, I have been there several times..............it will get better but it will take time.

Well had a decent nights sleep, BUT our friend with the mental health problems is back.............they say he is better BUT last night he was shouting again..................I am so glad we managed to get my friend who lived underneath him moved last week.............unfortunately someone else will suffer when they let the studio. Hey Ho.... life is never dull in here. By the way HRH is coming on Monday on a royal visit to meet the tenants.....I am really looking forward to that............!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its stopped raining, quite windy, wish I could hang my washing out....have a coloured load in just now.

OH bowling this afternoon, I have some hand sewing to finish. Tomoorw I will be away for the day, so unless I post when I get back will be absent........sorry, will bring you up to speed on Saturday.

Just off to cook spag bol for supper.................

Rose I am so sorry for your loss - your right everything happens for a reason but that doesnt make the result any easier to handle. Glad you are taking some time to yourself and make sure you plan in some spoiling for you and your family.

Bit of a slow start this morning due to seeing the bottom of a wine bottle that really should have stayed in the fridge last night:o I blame my neighbour shes a terrible influence:D

I am taking delivery of a very cute Yorkshire Terrier called Sam later today when above neighbour takes off to Barcelona (very jealous its 27 degrees there and raining here) I love doing the dog sitting thing it forces me to get my fat !!! off the computer chair and take em for a walk 3 times a day. Poor Sam wont know whats hit him my neighbour seems to think dog walking is a special treat reserved for Sundays only and then only if its sunny!! Personally I prefer the walking thing than having a garden full of poop:rolleyes: Only problem with taking him is that when they booked the holiday (months ago) I clearly wasnt listening to the dates fully and thought he was here until Sunday afternoon - well it turns out they are going for the week so he is here till next Thursday. Luckily not too much of a problem but I had planned to be away one night which I will have to change now.

Going to make a tuna and king prawn pasta thing for a late lunch which was meant for last night but somehow once the wine was opened didnt happen:o

Anyway hope you all have a good day and hope we hear from Jackie soon I really miss her

Jockettuk ~ I'm so sorry. Have been there too. 11 years ago b4 I had my DD or DS I had a miscarriage at 11 wks. I was so upset , but more for my DH than for me. He was devistated , but more because I was upset than for his own feelings. Everyone always said to him , "how's Ruth" , but no one asked him how he was. Hope you OH is OK. Sending you both very best wishes and lots of love. Take time for yourselves. Went on to have 2 healthy happy babies and put it behind us xxxxxx

Made pancakes for the kids again ever since dd3 saw some squeezy lemon in the fridge shes wanted pancakes everyday.
Cant get myself going today will get off pc inabit and get some stuff done.

Hello All

Well Im home from work 1/2 hr earlier than usual. Horrible atmosphere at work! And allthough the lunch treat was still on offer, I told them I wasn't going! Im not sitting in a pub making small talk with people who accuse me of something Ive not done. Leave them too it! Perhaps Ive cut my nose off to spite my own face, but I have pride!

Yipee! My tickets have come today for Donnington Races for September!

Mmmm, who mentioned pancakes? I think I might make some for mine & DD lunch!

Hi - not had much time today to get on here but want to send (((hugs))) to JOCKETTUK - take care of yourself; thinking about you.

Well, I managed to get to the gym today so I've achieved something. It's always so difficult with men around, isn't it? I feel as though I'm just drifting around waiting for him to go back to work which isn't fair really. He's used to being busy and finds it so hard to just do nothing. I've just sent him shopping and reminded him that one of his friends is still recovering from a back operation and he's gone to visit him as well. He'll be glad he's done that - they get on really well and the friend is probably longing for some male company as well! He has a wife and three daughters fussing around him!

Well, don't have much else to report at the moment. Weather has been pretty good today so far - lots of washing on the line. Think I'll go and pick some of my never-ending blackberries and, judging by the activity of the local squirrel population in my garden, the hazlenuts must be about ready so I'll pick some of those too.

Hi everyone, Have only just had the chance to log on i have been so busy but first ((((((((((hugs))))))))))) to all who need and want one.
Well our trip to the cinema was not very sucessful the movie stopped about 20 mins before the end and it could not be fixed so we all got free tickets to see any movie any time so not to bad and the kids didnt seem to mind.
THis morning I had to take Alfie (dog) to get a fur cut then get as much HW done as possible before we had to pick him up at 12 he is like a hypo child but lovely picked him up and then got lunch (am i boring anyone) cleared that away we then took my daughter to work im now doing this and having a lovely cuppa Rachael xx

Well what a flipping day, the mega clear out that started at the beginning of week has cause major hassle!!!
As we decided to order new carpet for stairs dh started repairing a few floorboards today but about a hour ago he put a nail through a water pipe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
All my towels and complete panic later, water now stopped spraying everywhere, our builder friend coming round this evening to repair pipe, but we have had to take boys bedroom carpet up to lift floorboard and everyroom looks like a bombs hit and iv got no water!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So much for mega tidy up more like mega mess up!!!
Oh well it will get sorted but at the minute i dont think ill ever look tidy again!!
Off to have a coffee with water thats left in hot tap from tank
