  • Good morning everyone

Jockett (((hugs))) to you and yours today. Sorry to hear your news.
alibob think you may have to be a bit more forceful with DH and *tell* him (not ask) that he needs to get certain dates booked as the uncertainty is stressing you out. Hope you get it sorted.
Good luck to all those getting their AS results today.

Saw doc yesterday and I have been prescribed the biggest horse-tablet type capsules I have ever seen. I'm gagging trying to swallow the things and I have to take 4 a day for 7 days. Still, I'm already feeling the benefit as the area around the cyst isn't so tender so I can wear a decent bra today. :j

Second job today then nip over to Job No1 office to check phones, post, etc. Boss is back tomorrow so the pressure is off me now. Not sure how much longer Job No2 will last as I have now finished all the photocopying of files that needed doing. (Thank goodness, I really hated doing that for four hours a week). Not much else to do there so I wonder if we will be having a little chat soon.

WM is nearly finished and dishes need washing so I'm off. Have a thrilling Thursday and ((((hugs)))) to those who need/want one. xx

(((((Jockettuk))))) - so sorry to hear of your loss - hope it goes OK at the hospital. DD will be upset but as we know kids deal amazingly with things.

Its sunny here at the moment, need to check the weather forcast in a min as we are going away for a long weekend at Pontins tomorrow so I need to know what to pack - am hoping its going to be shorts and then stuff for the evenings. Am really looking forward to it havnt been for years but I do hate packing so much. Kids are older now and hopefully will be able to do lots of the activities. Me Im trying to get in the mood for cha cha slide and agadoo! At least no cooking for me this weekend! WIll be going to Pleasurewood Hills on Monday - must remember to get my Tesco vouchers out.

SO today I am meeting my family (45 mins away) to give them the dog to look after - he needs to have a big run before. Have got to do all the washing and ironing. Floors really need a good hoover too. Methinks I will be quite busy today. Am just about to check my banks then jump in the bath.

    Best be off then!

    Morning all

Jockette - Hugs for you this morning - been in that situation 3 times now and can understand how you feel.

Hugs to all those in need this morning and a kick up the bum to all the rest of you - get up it's a beautiful morning (well it is here anyway) :p

Had a lovely day out yesterday - not legoland as planned as the weather was vile but did a few local touristy bits (the sort you never do as they're right on your doorstep)

Need to crack on with some washing and ironing today, going to have a bit of a bake-a-thon too.

DH was looking for car insurance last night - a job we both hate doing - and he could only get quotes for the same price as last year - like a dog with a bone I just couldn't leave it until I'd managed to find it cheaper - £60 per year cheaper too!!! Every little helps.

DD's seem very loud today - think I might send them to the postoffice and let them do the recycling to wear them out.

Hope you all have a great day.

((((Jockettuk)))) - such a blow - can't begin to imagine how you must feel, will be thinking of you.

Hester - attagirl! We can't help growing old, but we can influence the way we do it. I hope to be immature forever.........

Scuzz - good luck with your decision, whatever you decide to do.

Good luck to all of those with DDs and DSs receiving exam results today.

Today is my last day at work. I have not enjoyed the job for some time now and have decided to give it all up and go OS Full Time! I will have the time to run my household (such as it is - me, OH and getting 2 elderly cats in a weeks time as their current owner too ill to look after them) in a proper OS manner.

Hoping to do e.g Ebay, secret shopper etc so that I can be flexible with my time, whilst still having some kind of income. Would be grateful for any tips!! It's like retiring, though a bit early........

the sun is shining and it looks lovely here, so must crack on and clear my desk. Being taken out for lunch then don't expect to do much after that..........

    See you around (more!)
