    Good morning everyone,

Rose ((HUGS)), so sorry to hear your news xxx

Annie - Glad the doctor has been able to set your mind at ease, and you have tablets to clear it up (even if they are monster bullet ones!!!)

scuzz - good luck making your decision, im sure you will make the one that is right for you.

Alibob ((HUGS)) to you as well xx

Why is it, that when im on holiday, i cant sleep late!!! If i was working i would be struggling every morning to wake up, today, i had to force myself to stay in bed, and in the end i had to get up (im cant lie there once ive woken up!!).
DS is up, but DD is still in bed, they had quite a late night last night, so im going to leave her for a bit longer.

Nothing planned today, going to put the WM on in a moment, it has been raining overnight but the sun is peaking through now, so fingers crossed it will stay that way - the children can go outside and play as well then.

Also think i will do some cleaning, mind you, with just my 2 and me here, things arnt to bad at the mo!!!

Ok, better get on, fancy some breakie!!

    Have a lovely day everyone,
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  • Good morning everyone!

Hugs to Jockett - as someone else who's been there, give yourself time.

Scuzz - best wishes with whatever you decide to do.

Alibob - it's not moaning - we all have bad days, and I definitely feel better for sharing the downs as well as the ups with my *friends*.

    Jan - good luck!!

Off to York shopping with the small Penguins. We have a huge list, a lot of which is needed for a wedding next weekend  Going to the fish market to get mussels for tea

DD and I made puff pastry from scratch yesterday, then used it on a chicken pie. It was so light that the pie almost floated away :D

Inspired by Gingham's Veggie Menu Plans, I bought a veggie cook book yesterday, second-hand from Amazon. Can't wait for it to arrive :j

Have a great day, Penny. x

Thanks everyone for your kind words, I'm hoping that Mr Alibob will have a think about things and come back with a plan. I think worrying about my dads op is having an effect too (he's only concerned with having trendy pyjamas!)

    Good Morning All

Jocketuk - sorry to hear your news! (((hugs))) to you & your family.

Ive finally got round to sorting my clothes out for the holiday. Just need to iron them all & pack -oh! and book the holiday would be a good idea! Dlb knows my situation - I cant book untill the ex has actually taken the kids! If he knows Im going away, he will cancel his holiday to spite me!

Slowly getting through the mounds of washing!
Housework to do later & bath the dog, ready for her holiday with my friend!

Been awake since 6.10am, woke up to glorious sunshine, then it started to rain! typical.

Woke up to find the remainings of a bird on the bottom of our stairs! A nice present to deal with before breakfast! My guess its Charlie boy!

Easy day at work today, all the systems are down for an upgrade, so all we'll be doing is stuffing mailing letters! Then the boss is treating us to a pub lunch! Thats if she's still not gunning for me!

    Have a great day all
    Take care

(((Hugs))) Jocket and family, and all others we know.

Fingers-crossed for all A & AS results today. Take heart if you dont get exactly the results you want for your uni place - go into clearing with a vengence, sometimes you can get a better course than the one you were going to go on.

Had a lovely birthday yesterday, went out for a bar meal and saving pennies for nice meals in France, food OKish - company great, which is all that matters.

Trying to sort out clothes for 3 weeks, luckily taking the 'van so can take more than a suitcase full:o :o (don't tell DH)! Need to take some of everything I think.

If we here from Jackie0 and/or Pen-pin someone PM me please, may get to an internet cafe in France (if I find one! not that plentiful) but won't have time to read the threads so a quick read of a PM will be good.

Got council representative around to my house at 9 am today with one of the neighbours re the drains not coping with the water in June. Not happy with speed they work!

    Take care

Jockett, I'm so sorry. From experience I just want to say that you need time off o rest physically and emotionally. Do be kind to yourself.

I spent yesterday babysitting for a friend and in return she gave me a bottle of fizz and a packet of strawberries!!! Anyone know if cava freezes okay? We do it with red wine every time we have some as we only have a glass each.

the baby did not sleep well so DH is making me a coffee and some pancakes and fruit for breakfast and if I am up to driving we're going to go find a museum for our toddler - he's mad on space and there are a couple of exibitions we think he'll like.

DH and I have decided to treat ourselves after spending 2 years saving very hard. I'm going to look at food dehydrators and something to sprout seeds and beans in. We got some sprouted beans in our veg box on Tuesday and they're just lush!
May all your dots fall silently to the ground.

(((Hugs))) to JocketUK. Also been there and would echo what everybody else said about giving yourself time.

Havent been around for a couple of days and havent had chance to have a catch up read yet.

Plans for the day are a tidy round then a good clean of the play-room and some baking with DD this afternoon as it rather damp so I need to keep her occupied. In between doing that I need to do tea a load of washing and iron whatevers in the ironing basket.

Think I'll have a another cup of tea first though
    Have a good day everyone

    Morning!

Jockett - so sorry to hear your news:grouphug:

(((hugs))) to anyone else feeling low or poorly xxxxx

Off to work later 11am till 10pm shift so its a long day. Got a spicy apple fruit cake in the oven, just added some apple and cinnamon to my usual recipe so not sure how it will turn out.

DH is suffering again at the moment with his back(got a worn out disc) and has texted me to say he will have to look for another job as its just too strenuous for him - he delivers frozen and chilled food to shops and schools.

Hope you all have as pleasant a day as possible xxx

    take care x
