    Hi all x

Nothing off the list but I've had a lovely afternoon with DD. We have been in the kitchen making lasagne. Apart from putting it in the oven and taking it back out she did the rest herself.:T We also attempted smoothies in the machine I bought about 2 years ago  they turned out lovely so after dinner we nipped to farmfoods for some more frozen fruit.

I can see OH sleeping by himself tonight that blood pressure monitor is driving me nuts with its beeping and inflating. Someone will end up on the couch ;)

  • Qiuick pop in, did zero flying today, have been busy with the boys, the weather was awful so they took a lot more entertaining than usual!
But I did maintain the clean kitchen, play area and the laundry, so not a total write off.

Chat tomorrow when i'll hopefully be back on it!

Do apologise for the size but here is my old boy Scruffybear wearing his belly band.. As you can tell he is totally unfazed by it.. And he wore it while we were out today at the War and Peace Revival and the belly band was bone dry but his little incontinent pad had done it's job.. :D

I have ordered two more bands which will arrive tomorrow and I have also found a tutorial to make them. So guess what I am going to be doing... :p

Flying wise I have managed to declutter some money from my bank account.. does that count..lol Oh and am nearly down to the bare minimum on the washing, thank gods!!

Hugs and spoons to everyone xxx

Piggers I hope you are okay sweetie, miss you on here.

I popped to Mr Ts to collect 1 of ds2's birthday presents.

Had a letter from my cat insurance saying they have agreed to most of my claim.

Glad it's living room tomorrow. Mine is awful! I seem to have piles of knitty stuff literally everywhere....

Still waiting for a wool delivery so I can crack on.

First day of hols for girls tomorrow and they are back at school at holiday club. It's very chilled out though.

Not sure what to do in afternoon yet apart from the lounge. We may go for a walk as the weather is forecast rain on Friday. Maybe put the stuff in scrapbooks.

We've been to my library today to join the kids up to the reading challenge. Most libraries do it and it's free so worth a trip with the kids.

    Evening all :hello:

Sorry been AWOL but last two days have been a blur. I have had a quick read through but not retained much :o

I have had my nails done and hair minced. Did a bit of shopping and bought a card for DH's birthday (Sunday). This was the first time I've been out on my own since I broke my ankle, but the physio seems to be helping hugely and I took it carefully. It was lovely to be out and be pampered all in the oner.

Have done some of the lists, kept the kitchen up and been busy cooking, mostly for the freezer. We had a lovely asparagus risotto for dinner - added crispy bacon for DH :D

CY - all the best for the morrow and hope the second chemo goes as well as it can for you.
Pigpen - if you still reading thread I hope things okay. Please come back soon

If it's gone I've done it or don't have one

Minging Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room
    Sweep and mop floors

Trashy Tuesday - Bathroom and Study/Pc Area
    Clean floors in these rooms
    HHI... a bit more gone!

    Wacky Wednesday ~ Master bedroom

Remove and wash bed linen and duvet covers
Vacuum & turn mattress before replacing with fresh linen..
    Clean under the bed
    Polish furniture
Clean glass and mirrors - make them twinkle
Clear a hotspot ~ or spend 15 minutes clearing one.

Tantalising Thursday ~ Living Room, Dining Room and Entance/Porch

Open windows and let air in
    Dust windowsills and front door
Put plants in shower & give them a good rinse. Remember to put them back before everyone has a shower in the morning - it might be a bit unnerving having to shower with a plant!!!
Clean and dust shiny things/mirror and glass
Wipe down light fixtures - make those bulbs shine at night!
Clean lightswitches of hand prints or smudges
Move furniture, if safe to do so, and hoover underneath
    Clean and straighten any drawer
Add a personal touch to the table - pretty tablecloth, vase of summer flowers!!
Clean TV, other electricals and cabinets
Clean under sofa/chair cushions - lets see if you can find any money or even anything that you have lost recently

Hugs, sticks and spoons if you need some.
Hope you all have a terrific Thursday

Managed to make it to hospital for blood test. Whilst waiting afterwards my leg became very painful so I got it checked.

I knew I didn't have the typical signs of a DVT - it wasn't red and hot or swollen, so I expected it to be a false alarm.

Sadly it wasn't and a small clot was discovered. The cure? 6 months of self administered 1 a day injections. Good thing I'm not needle phobic.

So yesterday was a longer than expected day, but I survived. Back again today for more treatment.

Hope everyone is having as good a time as possible. Thinking of you all.

So glad you have survived, CY! You did very well to spot it,and thank you for the warning :T - it could happen to any of us, and I for one would not have suspected there was a problem because I get so many odd aches and pains all over. Thinking of you today, as ever x
