Huge (((hugs))) for you, CY; well spotted and well done for getting it checked.

Honey Bear - I have a large-sized Thundershirt if you'd like it? Too small for my bruisers, but I liked the idea of it. PM me if you want me to post it to you x

Thank you so much for this, Dizzy. I will be PMing you.
Having a coffee then a little more paperwork sort and off to ch shop. Important person coming today - why does she always pick the day when I am on!! I am "sensible" she says. Now I'll be in a panic in case I let her down.

You will be fine and you won't let anyone down. I hope you enjoy being respected all the more for knowing all Flyladies are capable of being sensible; it's one of our traits. We are also capable of being wonderfully daft which is even better.

I have to turn the superking around today and suck the carpets on the lowest level and landings etc, but after that a neighbour and I are taking Kelpie on a foot ferry to do about a mile of the South West Coastal Path to a cafe overlooking The Sound for lunch. I wouldn't dare to try it on my own because he can be very over-excitable but the neighbour walks him most days so she knows he's quite likely to end up in the drink given a shred of a chance.

The MTV Crashes volume was absolutely perfect yesterday. It's the first time in 20 years that a mega-concert volume has been right and *whispers* we even enjoyed some of the music.
    Better is good enough.

CY Well done you xxx I believe we know our own bodies better than any Dr does even when we don't actually know what's wrong. Virtual hugs and spoons being sent your way although I'm sure you're doing just fine today xxx

OH has been to the hospital and had his monitor removed, he's now sporting a lovely blister where the cuff was. Results will be sent to our GP so goodness knows when I will actually know the results.

Flywise I have decluttered tea and nicotine and that's been it! Better get a wiggle on before I need to leave for work.

Helping DD with her BR when actually what I'd like to do is sort the LR out. Losing the will to live though as she's got so much carp then she's handing me new clothes with tags on and saying 'they don't fit me!'

Natty Bear looks a real sweetheart; glad he's happy wearing his belly band, and that it's working for him.:o

CY OMG, life isn't treating you at all nicely, is it? to self-administering injections - I sure couldn't do it! When we had diabetic dogs staying, Mr LW had to do their insulin jabs, cos I couldn't! Anyways, stay strong, sweetie - we're all rooting for you.

Off now to remove nose-art from windows, and see if I can drop-kick this rotten BD over the garden fence!

Jttou glad the meeting went well and they didn't need to bother you. ( probably because they knew the volunteers would be too busy working)
    Hope all are well.
Found a few recycling bags so am waging war on a file of shredding from a few years ago.
Have just nipped shops with a package of excess books.
Found another shoe box full of DVDs upstairs from a half hearted attempt to cull a few last year do they can go with the others. One day the house will be neat and tidy and only have in it what we want!

Going to grab a quick cuppa and make it look habitable before Dh gets home from work

LW black dog threatened here earlier in week. I sent him packing with a swift kick in the rear end. Xxx

Natty bear looks so sweet with his belt on. Glad it's not bothering him.

Why are cars a pain. Dashboard light came on. Frantic go ogling taught me very little so we jumped in car and whizzed down to lovely mechanics who did some fancy shizz with a laptop and said it seemed something was schwiff with the immobiliser. So all ok for now. And he didn't charge me a penny. Great lads.

Then me n rugrats went for a short walk in woods. Really nice for them to just run and enjoy. Oodles of butterflies around. I love them. Aside from dd1s fear of dogs we seem to be also petrified of bees and wasps. Poor pook .

Flying wise. Not much. They have cleared their gibble from the lounge. I will try to dust it after dinner and then crack the hoover out over it n stairs tomorrow as the weather looks carp. Hope everyone else had more success today!

    X

I thought of you Mrs MP as I sorted through some DVDs today as part of today's challenge lol. What makes me shake my head is that we don't actually own a DVD player anymore. We stream all our films via the internet, so it begs the question, why did I even bring them to the new house when we moved!!!??? Chucked some really rubbish "funny blooper" ones that we'd been gifted (they were so pants I would've been embarrassed to donate to a CS) and I also binned a High School Musical one, just because my SD isn't here to ask and she's too old to watch that sort of toot anyway, IMO. :rotfl:

Lounge sparkling and clean, swept, mopped, dusted, de-cluttered and I put out my hand-blown glass vases to pretty things up.

Cleaned front door, although I didn't venture out into the porch because...
Dining room also sorted but to be honest, I keep that room fairly clear as I hate eating surrounded by stuff.

During my extra challenge of sorting a drawer, I found a pixie creation that my friend made for me, which reminded me that I haven't given her my new address. Pixie now sitting on a shelf, as a not so gentle prompt to write our moving cards!

Anyway DH just rang - he's leaving work, so off to cook prawns with creamy pasta - yum!
