Hi
Have just cancelled Mr T order for saturday as the roads will closed surrounding our farm. County council have gone wild and are doing something to them. The Mr T delivery men do not deserve 2 hours of detours to deliver me milk! So I need to get bread and milk on my way home today or tomorrow for next week.
This will mean I will be back under GC august budget, so this is a happy coincidence.0 -
I'm declaring my GC for August as my cc statement has been issued £203.15/£200 :j very please with this as it is the first time I have been able to track my spends for the whole month! And I managed to stay as near as damn it to the amount we could afford :TDF as at 30/12/16

Bought cat food yesterday at £2.50 and found a receipt for a small separate shop DH did as part of the birthday prep, so I will just add this to my budget - 89p for veg oil and 89p on milk.
For my three categories (groceries, toiletries/household and cat) this leaves £1.55/£150 til September. Given we will need cat food and milk again I expect to go over a bit, but will make sure it's as little as possible.Part time working mum | Married in 2014 | DS born 2015 & DD born 2018

Frugal & thrifty as much as possible.0 -
2 weeks into my budget and i have gone over it already. Oops!
To be fair, it is the summer holidays and both of the boys have been eating everything in sight, so its not really too shocking that i have blown the budget.
I am just going to try and spend as little as possible from now until pay day (2 weeks).
So I'll do some baking (biscuits, scones etc) to hopefully use up what i already have, so that i dont need to buy more.0 -
