We are off to the cinema this evening to see the new Fantastic Four. I will be buying some snacks, but that comes out of the entertainment budget.0 -
Is there anything you can't hide oats in??!
I can't think of anything. My 26 year old son caught me putting oats into a dinner recently. He was horrified and wouldn't eat it. He has had oats hidden in food since he could eat solid foodbusiness mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Hello everyone,
So far this month we did a shop last Sunday and I spent £4 on M&S ys items on Tues. Ds is away this wk so food lasting and not as many snack items needed ha!
Need to defrost freezer so me & dh have been eating food out of there but am getting so good to freezing left overs that everytime I defrost something for tea at least 1 freezer bag or plastic tub goes back in. Hoping to defrost over wknd then so a shop on Sun.
Am also finding it quite liberating that I know longer feel that the cupboards have to have massive supplies in all the time, we are getting by very nicely on less supplies.
The rice advice is very helpful as we have stopped buying the micro bags, it does seem to end up bit mushy but luckily we are not a fussy lotNST#14/20 -

£59 spent today for a weekly shop from MrT, hopefully there won't be many more of those as I try and do "little and more often" to cut down on waste though we don't have too much. Still, it's been paid for and any is too much0

Another NSD today, but will need to restock some basics tomorrow, milk, eggs, spuds and salad.
Finishing a complete refurb of DS,s bedroom this week, it was very poorly insulated and very cold in winter, so OH has studded and insulated the 2 external walls and the ceiling (flat roof), we,ve decided to buy him a double bed as at 17 he,s over 6ft and looks like he,s sleeping in a dolly bed at presentgoing for 'gas lift' for extra storage, luckily, I,ve been saving for a PVR, so have some money tucked away, the recorded programmes will just have to wait a while longer.....
Note to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!
