My Journey To My Pot Of Gold

The meeting went pretty well on Saturday. I had a migraine hit on Friday and I did all I could to hold it back but it made me a bit subdued on Saturday which was probably a good thing as I needed to listen more than talk.
I think all details have been thrashed out and the current owner and I came to a mutually beneficial agreement so now I have one last thing to consider along with some researching. Let's see how this goes! All quite stressful because I'm leaping out of my comfort zone but the only way to get on the life path I want to is to do very different things to what I'm used to doing.
Financially I need to put a child lock on certain shopping sites and concentrate on the bigger picture. I've not been feeling great with all the changes and the amount of work and hours I'm doing so I'm trying to prioritise that now.
I've just sent an email to the radio stating that I need to resign from being a regular member and to also lose my show. I feel horrible as I know they rely on me but I just can't maintain this level of rushing around. I've had a reply to say I've really upset the Chair Person but she had also said she is going to resign from being the Chair Person so maybe there's something in the air!!!! The Vice Chair has also resigned. It's not a good time!
On the plus, it feels strange going through mortgage details again. I'm a bit wobbly about that but I still need to push forward with it all.
I hope everyone had a fantastic warm weekend.

Mass resignations! There must be something in the water, or it is the domino effect where everyone else has reviewed their position in light of your resignation...
So agree on the comfort zone busting as 'if we do what we have always done, we will get what we have always gotten' and we all know you have big plans
Have a sunny, happy eveningIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

My god! I've actually read someone else's diary for once.
It's about time I did . But it's muffins who's so special.
Hellooo muffin ! I think you may have a couple of diaries previous to this ? If so, I'll have to start from the first one I guess
God knows when
I hope you are okay, and things improve wherever .
You have crammed in so much in this diary alone . You always have bundles of enthusiasm and warmth for so many .
The radio situation is similar to being in a band . When everything gels , it's great . When things get in the way , then the fun weens .
Maybe best not to quit entirely , but to go on a hiatus for a while ?
I think you know my attitude towards working in the city
Maybe work 50/50 home /office ?
Once your move happens, then you will take control again and as the Americans say , kick a @@s!
The regulars in here seem very cool too.
Thanks to doing it all , for encouragement in my thread
Keep it together !
Ps if your in a hotel, have an Irish coffee or 2 .
Sorry no dancing ladies here:(0 -
Hello lovely
Just checking in and can I just say another casualty we are a great bunch in here.
Glad you enjoyed the book and I hope you are having a relaxing Easter weekend with lots of chocolate.
If you want to stay off certain tempting sites I could always change your passwords for you lol.
And it's still raining here so still no cups of tea in the garden.
Take care.

Hello AC,
How lovely to see you on here, and thank you so much for your lovely words. I need to find some time soon to catch up on your life too. I really miss catching up on diaries at the moment.
I do know how you feel about working in the City, and am very happy you got out when you did. Sadly we're actively discouraged from working from home.
I will be across to catch up with you soon.0 -
