So, first date tonight with Mr 3rd Time Lucky! We decided not to see each other yesterday as he was busy sorting things after his holiday! Then we ended up speaking on the phone for over 6 hours and he got nothing done that he needed to, and neither did I! Feeling like a teenager at the moment! From an immature level too! Who stays chatting on the phone for 6 hours these days???!!!

On a good note, I got my hair done yesterday and my stylist kept commenting on how soft and shiny my hair is now! Loved hearing that as I spend a fortune on getting my hair looking so healthy! It's my nicotine and alcohol! Nails have been done too (see, I'm being very wasteful) and had gel on, for the first time ever! It's lovely knowing it's not going to chip at any moment!

Have a lovely Tuesday all! MTx

:T well done for looking after you!!! nails are very important first impressions and all that ...;)
:j good luck thinking of you ;)

First things first, last night with Mr 3rd time lucky was amazing! I had a perfect evening! All the nerves I felt just diminished when he arrived. I think it helps that we've known each other for so long as there was definitely a warm familiarity.

Thank you everyone for all the good wishes you sent, as it obviously worked! MTx

So, it's midweek again! First things first, ladies.....

Although, I'm not sure why I've brought them out today as I've nothing financial to celebrate. Last night didn't cost me a penny, as he insisted on paying for everything. However, I do need to sit and focus on what's been spent this month and where it's gone. Operation YNAB must commence tonight. I should definitely get half an hour spare to update it and shuffle the budgets to allow for my nails etc.

I've also bought lunch today! It was a ridiculous price too! If you can imagine the green stars to be pound coins then this is me recently .....

On a good note, I am still decluttering. I managed to fill up my rubbish bin and my recycle bin and more. It's bin day today, so when I get home I'm pretty sure I've got enough overflow to fill them both up again immediately. I don't think I'll be able to get very much done this weekend, and then I'm away for 10 days, but I'm sure I'll be back on it as soon as I'm home again.

    Happy Hump Day, all.

ooooh liking Mr 3rd time lucky's style a gentleman always pays ...:) I mean you can't possibly ever get into your purse without ruining those beautiful nails ....only teasing :)

Sometimes good to have a bit of a spend makes you feel alive ...as long as its reigned back in fairly sharpish...I don't think it hurts too much...:)

    Speaking of decluttering ...

I have said goodbye to my Gucci bag ... its on fleabay so hope for some generous bidders ...:) I've sold the Vuitton, the Fendi and now the Gucci...only the Mulberry is sat on top of the wardrobe as I love it and am sure I would feel quite ill without it...lol ...:)

When does your new job start Tinkerbelle?

    Hi MT

Glad to hear the date went ok. Has another been lined up yet?

Job starts on 1st so I've got a week to spend with DD as it's the last week of her school holidays too.

As I've got tomorrow and Friday off I'm promising now my diary will be started tomorrow. Still a bit of anxiety over it but m ready to do this now.

I've already got all my debts sorted out, just need to get YNAB sorted. Only got it recently so still trying to get the hang of it.

    Take care.

    Tink xx

Mr 3rd time lucky was an absolute gentleman Sam, which brought a bit of the devil out in me to put that to the test! He passed, with flying colours! But I still ruined my nails! 2 have peeled off because of the caustic cleaners I use! I've got to find some kinder cleaners as it can't be good breathing those fumes in when they can take gel paint off your nails in 2 days!

I really do need to reign things in, but just not feeling it yet. I'll get there, I always do, but I don't like this time I waste in the meantime.

You've definitely earned that Mulberry bag staying. MTx

Another date has been lined up Tink, and it's tonight! This isn't like me at all as I love being single and carefree, but I'm just going with what feels right for the moment, and this does.

New job on the 1st is a great time to start, especially as it works so well with the school holidays. How lovely getting that week together. Proper quality time.

Rosa and I love using YNAB so if you get any questions then I'll do my best to answer them.

Looking forward to reading your diary. You only need to write whatever is within your comfort levels. Even if the situation feels bad, then posting it in a debt free wannabe diary is good and you'll get help and support. My experience on this site is to keep everything within my diary. Sometimes I read general questions in other categories and the people get blasted for their "silliness" (like we haven't all done our own version of what's been asked), but in your diary you mostly get love and support. Good luck with it. MTx

So, financially I'm still not focused. I got home last night and I felt so tired that I didn't load up YNAB and update it. I didn't really think about it until I was walking up to bed! I'll definitely get some time in the morning to sort things out.

After buying my lunch yesterday I didn't spend any more and then ....... didn't bring lunch in again today! I'll get myself a cheap sandwich from somewhere to put me back on the straight and narrow!

I'd also like to find a couple of hours tomorrow for a little more decluttering. The room of doom is shameful! I've pretty much sorted out a playlist for tomorrow evening, so if I hurry and get that on a disc then I should have enough time to get my nails done and at least an hour in that awful room!

Have a great Thursday everyone! MTx
