My Journey To My Pot Of Gold

Thank you DIA. You have no idea what that means to me. I didn't get clear results. They've found something in my weekend tests that needs further investigation and does look to be "sinister" as the Dr said. This means an operation for a proper biopsy, just to be sure. It's a minor operation but it will mean an overnight hospital stay and a week of minimal moving.
So I'll wait and see about that getting scheduled. It's really made me realise, as has your post on your diary DIA, that I really don't put half the effort into myself that I do with other people. I always come last place and then I have very little energy to help me. I have to come up with a plan. My finances are good so maybe, other than keeping a good track of spending, I can ease off that now and put the same focus on my wellbeing. All round wellbeing, not just what I consume.
This has all shown me that I have a lot of changes to make to live a fulfilled life.
Thank you for asking. No one in real life knows about any of this so I feel a bit alone with it all. I really appreciated your message.

If this site has taught me one thing MT it's that you're never alone. We are all here for you.
Been thinking about you and hope everything goes well with the biopsy.
Take care.

Hi MT,
Ive only just read the last two pages of your diary. I hope all goes as well as it can, and I wish you a quick recovery from the op! If you are able to take it, arnica the homeopathic remedy in pill form can be good for post op recovery.
Have you been able to speak to anyone else about this at all? Someone who might be able to pop in on you or help you out during your week of minimal movement? I dont think we are close in location, but if you are, and you need anything at all, please ask!

How are you feeling? Now that you know you are going into hospital I’m imagining you will tell people in real life too? From your posts it sounds as if you have good people in your life. Is there someone who will be able to stay with you for a few days (good job the spare room is newly spruced up
) You are going to be well looked after I’m sure and whatever happens the little I know of you from your postings leaves me in no doubt you will be able to handle it. We’ll all be here to support you.
I really like the idea of you shifting the focus to wellness in the widest possible sense. Great! Go for it. I recently joined the wetlands centre as I realised I needed a space to go to just to be in nature as it de-stresses me. I know you touched on nature and how healing you found it. Could you build more of this into your life?
Wishing you well and I’m excited to see what you will do next (I always am)

Hi MT
I'm sorry to hear things aren't clarified yet and I hope all goes well with the biopsy - both for your results and a speedy recovery. I hope you have support around you for both the practicalities and to talk about the scariness of it all. We are certainly here for the second, even if some of us can't geographically offer the first.
It's so easy to get distracted from a fulfilled life, isn't it? But just look at everything you've already managed. Shifting your focus to true wellness will be a powerful force.
I think some true MSE dodgy hugs are in order here :grouphug:, as well as, of course, a comforting cup of tea :coffee:

Hi MT - I too hope that you have told someone in RL to give you the support that we can't offer you. But you know we are all here for you.
I hope you are ok. Have some {{{{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}}}} and some cake.
Take care lovely.

Trying to get the balance right between respecting your right to have a break and not post and wanting to know how you are. After all, you may have run off to have a mad passionate affair with the office guy who has a crush on you. You may have taken a cheeky holiday, or you may be a bit down. Hoping it isn't the latter. You'll post when you are ready to, but just wanted to let you know you are in my thoughts. If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be.
