Hope the show goes well tonight and well done on Swagbucks.

Thank you Tink. All went well yesterday. There are some great emojis out there, aren't there? They did put a smile on my otherwise miserable face trying to find something appropriate. I do love an emoji!!!0

Yesterday went pretty well after the glum start. The Dr surgery called me and have asked me to go in on Friday. The receptionist was told the appointment had to be the earliest available, which is good as it meant they didn't open up a slot for me as a special case.
I also contacted my bank to accept their offer of a 0% cash transfer for 24 months. I'll easily make the fee back on interest and, once health stuff sorted, I can use that to either decorate or just sit there earning me money!
I have found a property I really like the look of too. It's currently rented out, which is fine with me. It's making a good yield and the location is perfect. My checklist is all about size and location so I'm fine with not being able to physically live there. I need to do a little more research though in what I could be setting myself up for, if anything.
Oddly, I figured this month that by not using YNAB I'd go on a spend binge, but I really haven't! Maybe I really have learned something over this journey!!!
The show went well last night. I did a small bit of training when I got to the studio for one of the guys who's been there years but has never visited the wards. There are just a few procedures we have to follow and he was lovely with everyone, as I knew he would be. Then I met C who was doing the show with me and we had a good catch up. There aren't many females at the studio so it was nice to have the 2 of us together. We're going to do the show together next week again. Tonight I have to go in again to record a couple of shows. It'll be nice to be in there just doing my own thing. I'm also thinking about doing one evening a week where I record one show and give myself a little bit of "polishing" to try to improve my presenter skills. I'm a bit bland I think so I'd like to work on that.
Right, I have loads to do again! I promised a lunchtime deadline on lots of work, which I now think was a little ambitious but let's see.....

Well done on finding a new property.

I was taken out for a lovely lunch and catch up yesterday with my ex-colleague. So didn't need to pay out for anything and had a great time. I recorded a show last night so that kept me out of evening mischief too. Although, I'm back and forth to the studio so much that my petrol isn't lasting as long as it should. I may need to work on making that more efficient.
We have a famous author in the hospital at the moment who writes the type of books my Mum likes, and she's so beautifully proud of her achievements so was a real pleasure to chat to about what she's done. So today I'm going to buy one of her books and get her to sign it tomorrow for my Mum. I'm hoping that's not too cheeky!
I received my SB vouchers this morning. So that's £50 towards the Christmas gifts. I don't like having a gift balance on my Amazon account though, as it can accidentally get spent if I forget to change the payment method for personal items, so I think I'll start my Christmas shopping next week and just get it spent!
I've been looking into buying the place I've seen that I like and there's a lot of new legal information so I'll get onto that this weekend. I do love a bit of research!
Thursday is finally here!!!! I do love Thursdays! We're on the home straight to the weekend, but there's still enough time to meet deadlines without too much of a panic! Maybe I need to find a jolly Thursday emoticon???
How's this one?
Have a great day!

That's a nice thing to do for your mother
Thursday definitely deserves emoticon of its own.
Go you on the Christmas presents
Have a good day

I did suddenly think that August probably isn't too early to be thinking about Christmas?
You've nailed the dancing devilment, Rosa.
I'm still not spending lots of money, which is good. Not updating YNAB and not spending isn't linked, other then I want the healthiest YNAB new start that I can and so it's still on my mind in a positive way.
I did want to start with no debts, but I messed that up when I had the cash transfer. However, that was free money which will earn me much more than it cost, so it's a "good" debt.
I've also created a direct debit for that transfer to pay off the balance in 23 months, to make sure I get the most of that benefit.
Today is my Dr appointment to find out the results from one of my tests last weekend. Fingers crossed. I'm leaving work early to get there and will post an update.
Happy Friday all. MTxx0 -
Hoping you post the results of your tests soon. We're here whether you need to offload or share good news. Thinking of you xIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them
